"Stop spoiling my daughter, Mark." Penny said as Mark picked Aminata up once again as she began to cry.
"Pen-Pen, you know I love you but let me take care of my baby." Mark was so attached to Aminata that no one could tell him anything.
"Nani, give this man a baby, I don't know how much more of them I can take." Kwasi said as him and Nalani watched Mark and Penny argue with each other over the baby.
"Let me feed her," Penny reached for her baby.
"I can feed her," Mark resisted in giving Penny, Aminata.
"Now just have titties!" Penny said becoming irritated. "Mark you my best bitch and all, but I will fuck you up if you don't give me my baby."
Mark was experiencing baby fever like nothing he's ever felt and it was getting to him. He wasn't sure why he was so attached to the beautiful little girl in his arms.
He hands Aminata to Penny before a pout made its way onto his face, "sorry Pen, I think it's that baby fever Nalani's always talking about."
"As soon as you marry me, you can have all the kids you want, meaning 2." Nalani found herself sitting on Mark's lap as his hands massaged her waist.
"Let start with 8 and then work our way up," Mark joked, but in reality he was so serious.
"Yeah ok, you not gon trap my good sister." Kwasi laughed as he sat next to Penny. "Then be wondering why you ain't bouncing back the same."
"I agree, I ain't watching all them kids." Penny said with a raised eyebrow. "Once you stretch the rubber band too far, it can't, it won't go back."
"Girl worry about your one baby, and not our soon to be 8." Nalani may have joked about what Mark was saying, but she simply wasn't doing that to her uterus.
"Y'all not serious about the whole bouncing back thing," Even as an adult Mark was still oblivious to how the female body worked when having babies. He almost fainted when he seen a picture of Penny in the hospital with the baby.
"Yes Mark they serious," the look of horror on Mark face made me laugh. "Poor baby, ima be just fine delivering 2."
"Hey people!" We heard the door open and close before we heard Sage and Eros yell.
"Why everybody wanna yell in my house?" Penny asked Kwasi.
"Ion know but somebody bout to die if they wake my baby up." Kwasi in all seriousness was not playing around with none of them.
"Damn sorry, we just haven't been able to see each other as often." Eros said as him and Sage walked into the living room hand and hand.
"How's college E?" Kwasi asked Eros but his question was directed to both of them.
"Oh you know, a literature teacher assistant, interesting things." Eros sarcasm was something new to the group, but they knew he loved what he was doing. He's always been in love with the way words can just come together and create something magnificent.
"How's psychology coming along? We know you're getting your PhD." Mark was always interested in learning how the mind work.
"It's great, I'm really loving how much I'm learning while I'm there as well as my internship." Sage had figured out what to do with herself. She wanted to help those who suffered the same things as her.
"Did y'all see mom and dad on y'all way here?" Nalani hadn't seen her parents in about a year and she missed them dearly.
"Yeah...about that, daddy's in the hospital. Momma said he almost had a heart attack, but that he would be fine." Sage was always bad at delivery bad news, that's one thing everyone remembered about her.
"I have to go see him then," Nalani couldn't handle the thought of another dad of hers dying . She just couldn't fathom the thought of it.
"We can go see them tomorrow, we're only an hour away." Mark said as he rubbed Nalani's back.
"Are we going to talk about how Penny and Kwasi are sleep with the baby between them." Eros said as he pointed to the three.
Indeed they were on the couch sleep with the baby between them. Penny has told Nalani prior to their visit that they were barely getting any sleep, so of course Mark offered to come over and helped with the baby.
"This is probably one of the only times they've slept this long without the baby waking them up." Mark smiles as he picked the baby up and placed her in her play pin.

Alanis and Chance were on their way to a double date with Re'lei and Ro. Alanis only knew Ro because Mark did business with the both of them at one point, which is code for he designed both of their houses at the same time. Alanis didn't know Re'lei and neither did Chance.Alanis and Chance walked into the coffee shop, that instantly smelled like vanilla beans. It was something sweet and savory about the smell of it. The coffee shop had a definite bohemian vibe to it because the walls were painted a dark blue with an intricate designs in gold. The chairs were a simple nautical blue with the same golden design where as the table in the middle was mahogany. There was a bay window on the outskirts of the cafe for those who were alone to sit at.
"Over here," Alanis heard Ro say from a few tables down.
"Hey, Olla and Re'lei." Alanis was always the type to go out her way to greet someone, and Re'lei and Ro were no different.
"Wassup lil' mama, this my girlfriend Re'lei as you already know." Ro gave Alanis a hug.
"This is my boyfriend Chance, Chance this is Ro and his girlfriend Re'lei." Alanis turned to her boyfriend Chance as he dapped Ro and hugged Re'lei.
"Y'all can just call me Bless, ain't no need to be all formal." Re'lei Blessin Walker was her name and she wasn't ashamed to let people know it.
"Well you can call me Star since everyone calls me that." Alanis smiled warmly at Re'lei.
"So how's everyone's career going!" Ro asked as his hands found Re'lei's hand.
"I mean besides how demanding it is, I love acting and modeling all around the world for people." Alanis was truly in love with what she did, no matter how crazy the industry got she was always on top of her business.
"Totally, especially when we are in our primal ages. My schedule is definitely more flexible because I rap on my own time, but the tours are crazy." Ro squeezes Re'lei's hand gently because he knew how much she hated it when he went on tour.
"I can definitely agree with that, photography definitely let's me have my own little grove." Chance eyes brows creased a little as he talked about his job, it was his thing and Alanis loved to see him so happy.
"Oh wow, that's so cool! I mean I'm a photographer as well and I own my own urban dance studio." Re'lei almost never met anyone who was into the same things as her, with the exception of Ro.
"Okay, so tomorrow night my cousin and her boyfriend will be meeting me at the club tomorrow called Citrus, and I want to invite y'all." The more the merrier Alanis thought, and she hoped she was right.
"Yeah, it's been on Star's mind ever since Olla reached out to have a double date." Chance laughed at Alanis bubbly but humble personality.
"We would love to come," Re'lei said with a glimmer in her eye. She rarely got out because she was new to the city so she jumped at the thought of going out.
"Yeah we most definitely would be down," Ro couldn't stop the smile on his face because Re'lei was smiling.
Alanis just hoped that everything would be great, but deep down she could sense the mess in the tabloids.
