when I arrived on the scene two years ago, things were very much alive here.

but now I realized that I arrived a bit too late.

well sorta.

as we all know, things have been a bit (a lot) dry around here, and it seems to be getting drier. I sincerely hope that isn't the case and that some of these amazing stories that have been left to collect dust, finds their way to revival city. starrchiild and I were discussing this last night. the amount of stories that are left for dead is appalling. like these amazing plots are just sitting there, and we don't know what happens 😩

also hoping to see some new writers give it a go this year, and that a lot of old friends return.

before joining wattpad, I used to partake in writing fanfics for MJ back in like 2010/2011 on Facebook (crazy I know). eventually I was over it, and thought I'd never write again until I was convinced by two friends to write about Prince.

Guess they got tired of me having all those crazy dreams and babbling about them 🤣

I'm sure most can relate when I say that writing has helped a lot with dealing with his passing. Although sometimes in stories he may not make the best decisions or the wisest choices, I find it beautiful that he's being made human. Something that these larger than life figures can certainly lose.

when I read and the story is just that good, it's like he's still around, even if the plot infuriates me sometimes.

Idk I'm just ranting now.

I wrote all of this to simply say, that I'm not ready to let him go. It's sad what's happened around here and I know that some cannot help it but..

I really don't want our community to die.

sigh.
