Sharing Poems Part 2

It's been 3 days since I joined the literature club. Despite the fact that I usually do nothing, I find that this club is overall peaceful. I enjoy the quietness and the minimum amount of us roaming around. Although, my big suspicions are on to Monika. She is acting very strangely when we are not present, more weirdly, she is active during midnight which I find it very strange. I grab the poem me and Spooky planned and wrote, so I can share my poem. "Umm, hey Y/N..." Spooky said. "Huh? Yeah?" I respond. "My suspicions and concerns are too much on Monika. I even have a feeling that she knows everything that we saw few hours ago as well. And we do need to escape this dimension so..." said Spooky as she stutters her words. "So...? What's gonna happen?" I ask. "I'm gonna find the way out of this alone. I know I sound crazy but I can't interrupt you doing learning and the literature club activities. It's too risky for me to stay here any longer. Plus, I want to do this independently to get used to being alone as well so it's my opportunity." she said. I close my eyes and nod slowly. "I understand Spooky. I know how scary being lonely is for you but it's a brave act. And I'm more than happy to do anything you want to do." I said to Spooky. "How long are you gone for then?" I ask. She face down, struggling to speak out. "I'm sorry..... I'll be out for a while. Not a day, not a few days but a week or more....." She said as she starts packing up the things she needs. "I see... I won't be seeing you for a while then..." I said. "In that case, please take this.". I hand her a blueprint of the dimension device Powder gave to me. "What's this for?" ask Spooky. "It's the blueprint that Powder gave to me in case it's an emergency or something. It shows the pattern of how to construct the device we use to travel through different dimensions. Also, take the instructions on how to build the device as well." I said to Spooky. She floats to the front door and before she leaves. "Y/N, I'll be back as soon as possible... I promise..." she said. We went in for a hug and kiss each other in the cheeks. "Safe travels Spooky..." I said. She nods and waves at me. I wave back and she floats away. "I hope she's back as soon as possible..." I said. MC went downstairs. "Is something the matter?" MC asks. "No. Nothing is wrong right now." I reply. "Oki Doki then! Dress up gal. We need to head to school." He said. "Don't ever call me 'gal' again." I said to him. "Sorry lol." he said.

After yet again a painful lesson, I walk towards the literature club. I find myself being lonely as Spooky is off to construct the Dimension Device. As I arrive the Literature Club, all the members except Monika, had already arrived. "Well. I guess I'm late, aren't I?" I question. "Nah. Your here in time." Natsuki assures me. I can see MC chatting with Sayori as usual, Yuri reading a book and Natsuki sitting near the wardrobe, reading Manga. There's me, using my phone as usual. Few minutes later, Monika arrives. "I'm late! I'm so sorry everyone!" Monika apologises. "Oh no. It's fine, all we were doing is the usual thing." MC said. "Anyways, it's time to share poems everyone!" exclaim Monika. I went to Yuri first and show her my Poem. "I'm really impressed. You have improved!" Yuri compliments. "Thank you!" I reply. She hand me back my Poem and she shows her Poem:

It happened in the dead of night while I was slicing bread for a guilty snack.
My attention was caught by the scuttering of a raccoon outside my window.
That was, I believe, the first time I noticed my strange tendencies as an unusual
human.
I gave the raccoon a piece of bread, my subconscious well aware of the consequences.
Well aware that a raccoon that is fed will always come back for more.
The enticing beauty of my cutting knife was the symptom.
The bread, my hungry curiosity.
The raccoon, an urge.

The moon increments its phase and reflects that much more light off of my cutting
knife.
The very same light that glistens in the eyes of my raccoon friend.
I slice the bread, fresh and soft. The raccoon becomes excited.
or perhaps I'm merely projecting my emotions onto the newly-satisfied animal.

The raccoon has taken to following me.
You could say that we've gotten quite used to each other.
The raccoon becomes hungry more and more frequently, so my bread is always handy.
Every time I brandish my cutting knife the raccoon shows me its excitement.
A rush of blood. Classic Pavlovian conditioning. I slice the bread.

And I feed myself again.

The poem itself is well detailed and explained but I do feel quite disturbed after reading it. The more I look into it, the more I can decipher the hidden meaning of what the poem is telling. I believe that this poem is telling me that Yuri has some kind of unhealthy addiction of cutter herself. After realising the true meaning of the poem, I feel really terrified and pity to Yuri. But I hide these feelings in front of her. "That's very detailed Yuri. Your writing skills are ten times more refined than mine lol." I compliment. "Uhh... don't say things like that... your poem is good as well..." she shyly said. "Well, I got to share my Poems with MC, I hope my poem helps your writing skills." She said. "Alright. Have fun!" I said. I then walk up to Monika to show her my poem. "Here's the poem." I said. She reads the poem. "Wow! Your poem is great! I never knew you have very creative ideas." Monika compliments. It was actually Spooky who has very creative ideas not me. "Thanks!" I reply. Monika hands me her poem to me and I read it:

The colors, they won't stop.
Bright, beautiful colors
Flashing, expanding, piercing
Red, green, blue
An endless
cacophony
Of meaningless
noise

The noise, it won't stop.
Violent, grating waveforms
Squeaking, screeching, piercing
Sine, cosine, tangent
Like playing a chalkboard on a turntable
Like playing a vinyl on a pizza crust
An endless
poem
Of meaningless

Load Me

Wut. I am just super confused. What does she mean by "Load me" and why is this poem is mostly computer related. I'm not much of a computer scientist but even an average computer scientist may be confused by the poem. "Sorry if this poem looks very confusing." Monika said. "Oh no no. It's a great poem." I compliment. She didn't respond. I wonder if this poem also has some hidden dark meaning relating to her as well. She then walks away. "Uhh okay then." I said with a concerned expression. After reading Natsuki's and Sayori's Poem, I return to my deck. I can see MC sorting out Sayori's blazer. I see Yuri and Natsuki doing their usual thing like I am. Monika is sitting on a teacher's desk. She looks sad. Minutes pass and Monika raises her voice. "Okay everyone! You can leave." she said. All of us but Monika, leaves the room. Yuri and Natsuki walking with each other and me walking with MC and Sayori.

After all of us went home, MC notices that Spooky is missing. "Uhh. Where's your little ghost buddy?" He asks. "She went somewhere. I'm not gonna tell you further details." I reply. "Well, fair enough." MC said as he approaches upstairs. I decide to watch some television programs. After watching some programs, I head upstairs, do a few hours of Internet Surfing, had shower and head to bed. "I wonder how is Spooky doing. Gosh I missed her already..." I thought.

So far I have found a quarter of the materials I need to build this device. There is one very annoying thing I need to find which is a battery. I check in stores for batteries but somehow non of them sells any batteries. "How does this dimensions sells no batteries!" I thought. After travelling a few metres, some green, fuzzy object appears randomly. "What is that?" I question myself. I touch it and it makes some computer noise. I think it's some glitch. "I wonder if it can substitute the battery?" I wonder. I place the glitch object inside a plastic bag. I continue floating around to search for the pieces I need. "I hope Y/N is okay without me..." I said. "It must be really lonely without me... But it's only for a week and when I return, I'm gonna give her a very squishy hug!" I exclaim. "She loves squishy hugs!" I continue my journey, embracing the thoughts of me hugging Y/N like a squishy toy.
