Separation

I open my eyes and look at my clothing. "Yes! It worked!" I exclaim. I have my own body again, meaning that I am no longer merged with Monika as I see her lying on the ground. "Well, it's over. Although I do find your reaction entertaining." Said Cat. "Pfft. Of course I was screaming, I mean, it's mainly because of my hair colour that changed." I grin. Spooky, Tirsiak and Powder gets up. "Well, if I see an orb like that again, I am tossing that away." She states. Natsuki springs up. "Jeez, that's was so weird. Never doin' that again for sure!" She exclaims and then glances on Tirsiak's Ears and tail. "Where do you buy those from? I kinda want one of these as well." Natsuki asks. "I was biologically born with it. So they're pretty much a part of me." Tirsiak answers. "Oh. Your looks reminds me of some kawaii anime girls!" Natsuki compliments. "Err... what's an anime girl...?" Tirsiak questions with curiosity. I randomly glance at Powder, which she looks as if she receives PTSD. "What!? How have you not heard about anime!? Everyone talks about it!" Exclaim Natsuki. "I think it's better if she never knows about it..... because from my experience........ No......!" Powder stutters. "Well, you've probably seen the weird side of it." State Natsuki. Tirsiak seems to lose interest on the topic already. "Eh. Sounds lame. I prefer action and bloodshed." She express. Yuri then gets up. "Uuuuu....." she groans. "Y/N! It's Yuri!" Spooky alerts me. I then look at Yuri and then look back to my stomach. There's still the huge wound that she inflicted. I look at Monika and her school uniform was ripped but no signs of any wounds. Spooky seems to have trust issues against Yuri. "Your not hurting Y/N again, are you!?!?" She questions angrily. "W-wha!? Umm..." Yuri stutters as she struggles to find words to speak. Spooky is taken a back but still angry. "Spooky, stop. Her psycho split personality slips off through her mind so it's not her fault that her sinister persona overtakes her and my strength to combine it. So really, you should blame me because Y/N would've withstand the swing without my strength combining it." Explain Powder as she defends Yuri. Spooky becomes calm. "I guess your right. Yuri, I'm sorry I've snapped earlier..." she apologises. "Don't worry, it's fine... I should've never let my inner persona slip through my mind. So please don't feel sorry..." reply Yuri. "And Y/N, I think I should leave as well, I don't want to cause any further harm to others since I could go ferocious anytime again.". Natsuki is taken a back slightly as I step in. "No no no. You can stay here, still. Plus, I was saying that to your other persona, not your true persona. Even then, it just slipped out of my mouth so I didn't mean it at all." I reassure Yuri. "Ahaha, just for everyone's sake, I will do my best to restrain my poor habit." She grins. MC steps in. "Well, I'm glad that everything turn out well. Also, I'm deeply sorry for swearing at you earlier, Yuri." He apologises. "Don't worry. Like Y/N said, you were talking to my other persona. Plus I do deserve it anyways because at the end of the day, I have injured you." Yuri reassures MC. "Nah it's fine. In fact, I was quite amazed of how far you've kicked me." He giggles but then collapses. "Ow.... Geez.... Not again....." he stutters. "Yeah, that's gonna keep going for a while by the way. Just a heads up." Powder warns MC. Sayori then gets up, unable to recall what happened. All she does is inspecting her body in case she is no longer fused. "MC! I'm back to normal!" She exclaims. "Nice, Sayori! I'm glad your back to your cheery, bubbly self again!" MC compliments as Sayori blushes.

Finally, Monika is the last to get up, however, she doesn't look happy. "Yuri! Why did you let that persona slip off?" She questions. "Uuuuuu... I don't know.... I just let it slide...." Yuri replies. "Wow, that's your excuse huh? Classic Yuri." Monika scoffs. Yuri looks away with guilt. "Hey! It ain't Yuri's fault!" Natsuki argues. "Well, it is. And look my blazer. There's clearly a hole. And it's Yuri's doing." Monika replies. Yuri becomes more guilty. "M-Monika..! Why are you like this...?" Ask Sayori nervously. Monika groans further. "Because, Sayori. I was able to see what was happening after that Mind Switch. I don't know how you weren't able to after that defected ghost switched minds." She replies. Spooky clearly feels insulted which all of us recognise. "Watch. Your. Mouth." I warn Monika. "C'mon Monix! This isn't you. We can just end this conversation and move on, right? Right?" Tirsiak tries to encourage but it's clearly not working. "Don't call me 'Monix' you monster. You can't socialise with people because they will see you like that." Monika sneers. Tirsiak takes this very personally and becomes angry. "Oi! I'm not the 'Oh, love me forever, Y/N.' person unlike you." She answers back. The situation is becoming worse and worse. "Yes but I have a reason to be like that! SHE is experiencing false love. I've heard the ghost's back story and it was sinister and dodgy. And guess who told me that? You." Monika replies. "Tirsiak, you did what!?" Spooky exclaims. Tirsiak became very guilty. "I... Err.... I... didn't..." She stutters, tears streaks on her cheeks and runs away. "Tirsiak, come back!" I shout. Powder became speechless, in fact, she looks very defenceless. "Oh look, you didn't say a word. Honestly, there's no surprise considering that you are some mindless soldier from another dimension. Just get out of this dimension already." Monika sneers at Powder. Powder looks very exposed and walks away without a word. "Powder...! Are you...-" She interrupts me from speaking. "Just give me some time to think..." she grunts. Cat follows her. "I'm gonna check on her see if she's alright. I'll be back as soon as I can." Explain Cat and runs away. "Monika! Stop! I don't wanna hear this no more!" Sayori cries. "Sayori you don't get it! These friends that Y/N makes are abnormal! We're the normal ones that she should've spend time with. That's why I have been trying to get her love is so that she can have a normal life!" Monika shouts. I became angered from what she said. "You want to say that again! Right in front of my face!?" I demand. "Yeah and plus your not living a normal life either, Monika!" Exclaim Spooky. "I'M not normal!? Yeah, sure! Some stupid scientist traps me inside this stupid game! That definitely doesn't happen to me! Surely! But what about you!? Why don't you go back to your disgusting mansion, oh wait! It got burned down! I think your best suitable place to live in the underworld!" Monika snaps. Spooky goes idle like a statue, tears streaking down her cheeks. My tears are streaking down as well. My heart is aching, no, hurting horribly like a heart attack. "Ahahaha... well... thank you so much for saying that... I HOPE YOUR PROUD OF THAT!!! GREAT JOB, NOW I DONT EVEN KNOW IF I BELONG THERE NOW!!! I HATE YOU SO MUCH MONIKA AND I PRAY THE WORST FOR YOU!!!" Spooky cries, enraged and sorrow. She runs away, not looking back. I look down on the ground, feeling a mixture of rage and sorrow. "Ahahaha! Well that's a shame! Well, Y/N. You are welcome to join the club! I'd be delighted to have you as a member!" Monika chimes but the other girls and MC are the opposite of happiness. I clench my fist like never before. The rage boiling within me is overflowing along with sorrow. I approach to Monika. "Hey! Good choice, Y/N. I can always count on you to be my girlfriend!" Monika smiles. I come closer and slap her face with a large amount of force and power, making her collapse to the ground. "Happy now? Get up, *****." I sneer at Monika. "But why...?" She asks. "You've broken Spooky, Tirsiak and even Powder.... And now you've broken me... Selfish *****, I clearly said that I'm not interested in you and you continue to drift me, my friends and my girlfriend away from each other... I hope I never see your disgusting *** face again...!" I sneer at Monika again and walk away angrily. "Wait! I'm sure there's more friends you have! Why don't you talk to them." Natsuki advices me, trying to cheer me up. "I have non. Ever since I separated from my parents and my brother, my life was a living hell for years and it kept going until I met Spooky. If I didn't met her in the first place, then I would've continued living this hell and worst case, living the rest of my life like this..." I sorrowfully explain. Natsuki, Sayori, Yuri, MC and even Monika feels very bad for me. "If I see this ***** one more time, I will be the one to make her suffer by my hands." I grunt and walk away, not looking back or even dare to look back.

I open the front door to my house and take a seat. I stare outside the window to see that its getting dark. I don't feel like making dinner seen as I am in a horrible mood. I head upstairs and into my room, only to find that Spooky isn't here. "Guess I'm alone again." I sigh. I boot up my PlayStation 4 and grip on to my controller to play Fortnite. I play a few rounds of this game, eliminating, camping and dying to players. Eventually, I get a Victory Royale but my bad mood completely destroys the satisfaction. I play another round, doing pretty much the same thing until in game, I stumble upon a player wearing a somewhat similar skin. It looks exactly like Powder that I know. "What? That skin looks exactly like Powder." I thought. The player wearing that skin eliminates me. I eventually stop playing and turn off my PS4. "I guess I feel somewhat better." I thought. I look outside and it's still quite sunny. I look at the time. "7:30PM, I'll just eat some toast." I mumble. I head downstairs, still in a bad mood. I then hear a knock on my door and decide to open it. It is Natsuki. "Hey, I know your feeling very down right now. But I just wanna tell you something..." she requests. "Go ahead." I reply. "We... will not be living near you for a while. Monika told us that she wants nothing to do with your friends and we just can't leave her like this. She also told us to bring you along but you'd obviously gonna say no anyways... so yeah..." Natsuki explains in a sad tone. I sigh. "Thanks for letting me know, Natsuki. As painful as being alone as it is, I have to deal with me." I groan. "I'm leaving now. Stay strong, Y/N." Said Natsuki as she puts up for a fist bump. "You too." I reply and fist bump Natsuki. She then walks away and I close my door. I then decide to read a book to somewhat relieve myself.

{Cat's P.O.V}
I followed Powder up to a high cliff. I see her sitting down, staring at the horizon. I slowly approach her. "Are you okay?" I ask. "Isn't the sight beautiful to see?" She questions me. Confused, I come closer to Powder. "What do you mean?" I further ask. She stands up, with some kind of skateboard. It doesn't have wheels at all. "This is what I used to say before I hop into my hoverboard. Back before, I'd used to surf around as much area as I can, to catch the air and to kiss the sky, before becoming what I am today. A fighter nonetheless." She explains. A moment of silence occurs until I'm the one to talk. "So tell me, why did you walk away?" I ask. Powder sighs. "I guess I just wanted to live a normal life, peace and stuff, you know. I just didn't take the word 'mindless' so lightly. It makes me realise that no matter where I go, I just don't feel like I belong anywhere." She answer. I feel quite guilty asking that question. "I get how you feel. In fact, I kind of feel the same way. I too wasn't adjusted to the outside world. In fact, everything out there is new to me. I guess we're just one of these organisms that aren't used to how humans live. It's just life." I express. Powder let's out a minor grin. "Hmph, I guess that's how it is. But we just gonna have to deal with it." She replies. Powder then lays down the board and hops on. "Well, it's been nice talkin' to ya, Cat. Thanks for coming here to see me as you were quite concerned but I'm alright. Just need some time off that's all." She thanks me. "No problem, I'm going to find Tirsiak and cheer her up." I state. Powder then looks down. "Huh. So Monika and her group are leaving." She points. I look down and see Monika and her group walking the opposite direction from Y/N's house. "Oh yeah, you ain't gonna find Tirsiak by yourself. I'm taggin' along of course." Powder grins. I smile. "Nice, but it's gonna take a while though giving that she could be hiding in some random forest." I reassure Powder. "Nah. With the 'Driftboard' aka the Hoverboard, we can track her down easily before night." She chimes and wears a pair of purple goggles. "Hop on to my shoulders, it bout to be a bumpy ride." I jump on Powder's right shoulder and hold on tight. Using the hoverboard, she first does the run up. We go at an average pace until the hoverboard accelerates drastically and Powder performs a backflip at a very high altitude. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" I panically scream. "Yyyeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!" Powder shouts excitedly. We are now falling while riding the hoverboard. "Powder! We are about to die!" I yell. "Nah, it's fine! The hoverboard is gonna get repelled like magnets repelling each other, only it will hover slightly above ground! That's why it's called a HoverBoard!" Powder shouts positively while we land safely. I look down, amazed of how the hoverboard didn't get damaged. "Amazing..." I mumble. "See! Now, let's crank up the speed!" Powder exclaims and we accelerate much faster. "Tirsiak, we're coming for you, my friend." I stutter. "We're truly are..."
