Louis' P.O.V.

Am I the only one kind of confused here? I think so. Afterall, I'm the oldest so that makes me the smartest. Maybe That's why I'm the only only one who see's the clues. Liam's too lovestruck to see, Niall's like a four year old ninja, Harry is too busy flirting with himself in the mirror, and Zayn is too busy looking at himself in his mirror. Of course none of them are going to see. Unless, I tell them and we start investigating.

"Boys! I have a mission! It's Operation Leopard!" I shouted to all of them.

"Question! Umm... Why do we need to have a mission involving leopards?" Niall asked.

"No reason. And this mission is about Zailey. Just to let you people know."

"What about Zailey?" Liam questioned.

"I think that she is hiding something big from us. So enormously, hugely, fatly, obesely, big from us. She has a secret. And I think she has more than one." I exclaimed.

"Dude. Everybody has secrets." Zayn said plainly.

"But not everybody has a secret like this." I told them.

"Then what do you think that secret is Louis?" Harry asked.

"Actually... I hadn't thought about that yet. I was just making it up as I went along." I lied. I decided I didn't want to tell them, until I actually knew if it was true. Some chick the other day told me something about her at school... And I think it leads to this.

"Come on Louis! This is stupid. We could be watching family guy right now, but no. You had to sit here and make up random crap!" Zayn said.

"I think somebody needs some Peter time." I said shaking my finger at him.

"Go to your room." Liam said calmly.

"Why father?"

"Because I said so."

I trudged up the stairs, trying to think of an escape plan. I'm going to go over and talk to Zailey about it. No matter how weird it may seem.

When I got up to my room, I pulled out some rope from under my bed and opened my window. I cast the rope down the side of the house and started sliding down.

"Weeeeee!!" I squealed with excitement. As I slid down, I realized that they probably heard me squealing... Maybe I should've duct taped my mouth before I went.. That'll have to wait for next time.

When I got down on the yard, I ran over to Zailey's house and knocked on the door. She answered and invited me in.

"Hey Louis. What's up?" She asked. She was still dressed in her Jamba Juice outfit, so that means she's off work.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Uh... Sure. Fire away."

I thought for a minute and then decided that I should wait to ask that question. Now I'll have to improvise. "Do you love Liam?"

She looked kinda surprised at the question. "Well not love. Love is a hard thing to come across. But he's a really nice guy. Maybe I could end up loving him someday. But he is really likeable. Love is a strong word, and I don't think I can use that word to describe my feelings for him. I like him though."

Hmmm... Interesting. Improvising might've been the best plan I've ever came up with. "Okay. I was just wondering. Since I think he's falling for you, I was just wondering if you were falling for him."

I stayed and talked for a little while and then headed back.

"Where were you?" Harry asked.

"Somewhere." I said. I'm gonna make sure that Liam doesn't get his heart broken. I'm going to make sure that Zailey falls for him, and they fall in love. But it will be hard and all. I think Zailey's had quite a past, and I think she'd rather not fall in love. But Imma change this.

Zailey's P.O.V.

I wonder why Louis would even ask that. A survey maybe? For a minute there  I thought he was going to ask something else. Something that I couldn't ever answer. But I'm glad he asked about Liam. That's way better than him asking about my past.

"Come on Zailey. I wanna show you something." Liam pleaded.

"Fine. Just let me grab a jacket."

Liam had come over today and said that he had planned something for us to do. I was excited until he said where we were going. We were going to Santa Monica. I haven't been there for a long time. And I never wanted to go there. But Liam insisted, and I just couldn't bring myself to say no.

"Liam where are we going?"

"It's a surprise." Liam said, keeping his eyes on the road. He's such a careful driver.

"Come on. I don't like surprises. Last time I got a surprise from you, you scared me so much I wet myself."

He glanced over and smiled. "Well this surprise doesn't have anything to do with scaring anybody."

"Your really not going to tell me are you?"

"No."

"Fine. Then I'm going to turn on some music. Who do you want?" I asked scrolling through my ipod.

"Uh, do you got any of the Neon Trees?"

"Are you kidding me? Yeah."

I plugged my ipod in and Everybody Talks started to play.

"Are we there yet?" I whined.

"Almost. Just hold on. Do you wanna get something to eat first?"

"Sure."

We drove to McDonald's and hopped out. We placed our orders and found a seat.

"Okay, so where are we going in Santa Monica?" I asked again.

"Somewhere. Besides, we're pretty much almost there. All we gotta do is walk down the street a little bit."

"Shopping?" I asked.

"Something like that. But way more exciting."

Not much of an answer, but okay. Something's better than nothing. When we got done, Liam took my hand in his and we started to walk down the street.

When we got closer, I began to see where we going. We were going to the Santa Monica Pier.

"Oh my god Liam! This place is the best!"

"I thought you'd like it." He said smiling at me.

The sky started to get darker, and the lights started to get brighter. We shopped at random places and rode some of the rides.

"Hey Liam, do you wanna go on the ferris wheel?" I asked. Ferris wheels are my favoritest, and I have no idea why. They go so slow, but you can see so much from up high.

"Sure."

We stood in line for what seemed like an hour, then we were finally on the ride.

"It's beautiful up here." I said, amazed at how beautiful the ocean is. I probably sounded like a retard thinking everyhting was beautiful, but it really was beautiful.

"Yeah. But it's not as beautiful as you." He said. In the darkness I could see that he was smiling at me.

"You're just saying that."

"No. It's true."

He leaned towards me, his lips meeting mine. It was a passionate kiss, that seemed like it lasted forever. I never wanted the night to end, but I knew it would have to end someday.
