chocolates n' flowers n' stuff - billverly

3rd person pov
bill sat in the park doodling in his sketchbook, pictures of beverly of course, as the sun shone down on him. his tongue poked out of the side of his mouth as he shaded the drawing.

it was a warm friday in derry, bill had previously asked beverly if she'd like to hang out with him, just him. she agreed happily and that's when the panic struck him. was it a date? she seemed happy about it, so maybe. he called the only two people at that moment, he thought could help him.

richie and stanley.

he checked his wrist watch, it read 3:27pm, he was supposed to meet the two at 3:30. he gazed around the park and then they caught his eye, stanley was strolling over to bill, richie was slightly behind him waving his hands around in possible frustration.

richie spotted his stuttering friend and gasped "hey billiam" he yelled. stan facepalmed walking faster towards his lone friend.
"h-hey guys- th-thanks coming." bill smiled lightly, stan's eyebrows furrowed. "i don't know why you asked this dumbass." he stated bluntly pointing to rich. richie grabbed his chest in 'pain' and yelped "you wound me staniel- i am a love expert!"

the other two boys rolled their eyes, and proceeded to discuss what bill should do on 'big bills very first date' as richie liked to put it.
"you should take her to the diner it's nice there and-" stan was rudely cut off by his curly haired friend. "get her chocolates n' flowers n' stuff, chicks dig that shit" he said enthusiastically. bill looked stanley in the eyes as if asking for a second opinion. he nodded, his light curls bobbing with his head.

they said their goodbyes and bill set off to the convenience store. he stepped into the small building and looked around, his eyes landed on a stand with candy and such. he picked up a small box of chocolates and some airheads.
bill continued down the isle to the flowers, he picked up a small bunch of sunflowers. they reminded him of beverly's personality. bright and warm.

the tall boy shuffled over to the counter to pay, once he did that he left. it was 5:05pm, he was meeting the red head at 5:10pm at the diner. he smiled lightly, his nose scrunching as he got butterflies. the light haired boy walked to the diner to see beverly standing there. she glanced over and smiled, a pale yellow dress hugged her figure, she complimented the dress with a pair of brown boots and her many necklaces. her hair sat just above her shoulders, half tied up into a braid.

bill's face heated up. "you lo-look really p-p-pretty bev-beverly." he stuttered out, quite flustered. she blushed slightly. "thank you billy" she bat her eyelashes lightly. he passed her the chocolates and the bouquet of flowers. "chocolate n' flowers n' stuff?" she questioned and smiled. bills mouth opened slightly.

"rich told me" she chuckled and kissed his cheek.

A/n - first time writing about bill and bev, i really like the pairing so expect more from them. requests are still open, more than one are allowed too!! so please do request some scenarios or couples! ( young or old )
