Jennie's POV*

"JISOO UNNIE!" I called from my room as I ran down the stairs.

"Ah yea yea what?" She asked scurrying from the kitchen.

"Can I go for a walk?" I asked cutely.

"Ah seriously..."she mumbled, "Yah Kim Jennie I thought something happened. Aigo." She shook her head.

"Hehe sorry unnie." I giggled.

"Ah ok."she sighed, "Yes yes you may go. Be back by dinner. And if you could buy some snacks for the house that would be great." She went back into the kitchen.

"Ok unnie. I'll go now. Bye!" I said excitedly before leaving the house.

I just moved into Jisoo unnie's house in this neighbourhood 2 days ago and it was very peaceful and quiet. No wonder she like it here an never left even after 2 years.

Anyways...

The sun was up brightly and the wind blew nicely so I thought I would get some fresh air. The neighbours were nice and the street was convenient.

I am on my way back home now. On the path home there was a large sidewalk that I'd have to go through. And it was separated into two with a single metal fence. I head downhill in the inner sidewalk as I was another 5 minutes away from home. I stared at my steps when an approaching sound caught my attention.

I slowly looked up and stared at the person passing by me on the other side of the fence. She was skating by and I smiled shyly as I looked away when her body fully passed from my sight. She was handsome and pretty and I blushed when she smiled back.

The sound of her skateboard fades away and I looked up ahead to the journey I had left. But after some time, little did I notice the same sounded getting louder and closer at the same time. And before I could look behind to see what was going on, a skateboard passed my right then came the same girl stopping me by appearing in my front. I stopped a little flustered.

Lisa's POV*

As she faces back to the direction she was going, I continue my stares on her. Who is this beautiful lady? Is she new to the neighbourhood? I asked myself. Well only one way to get my answer right?

I quickly skated to the end of the fence and turned to my left to go downhill in her direction.

As I came closer to her, I jumped off my skateboard and let it fly forward slightly more since I knew it would come back as this path goes uphill at the end anyways. I see her gaze down to my board and before she could look back, I stepped in her front.

"Hi." I catch her off guard.

"H-hey..." she said in the softest tone I've ever heard.

Her cheeks were red and full. Eyes sharp and hazel. Hair silky and smooth.

"I've never seen such beauty walk this street before. Have you just moved in?" I asked politely while smiling.

"Yes I'm new. Jennie." She stuck her hand out.

I looked down and smiled as I grabbed it.

"Lisa." I said before pulling away when I felt I weird sensation growing in my stomach.

As we were in a moment of silence I glance down to her hands.

"Ooh um do you mind if I lend you a hand?" She frowned.

"Oh!" She exclaimed when she realised what I motioned to.

"No it's~" I stopped her.

"Please. I know we just met but you can trust me. I'll be a helping neighbour. So allow me." I smiled reassuringly.

She nods shyly once again as I take the only 2 bags that she carried, from her hands leaving her fidgeting with her fingers.

"Could I perhaps walk you home now?" I giggled.

She smiled. I carried both groceries in one hand and swung it to my back. I picked up my board and walked by Jennie as she led the way.

It was quiet. I glanced at her carefully and gladly saw her enjoying the scented breeze. I smiled unknowingly and faced back in front.

After a solid 5 minutes she came to a stop and spoke.

"We're here." She faced me.

"Ooh ok." I mentally cursed.

"Thanks for sending and helping me Lisa." She bowed cutely.

"Yea no problem. It's my pleasure." I smiled as I carefully handed her groceries back.

"I'll see you around I guess." She said.

"A-ah yea. See you around." I said waving as she walked into her gate, through her front yard.

I stood there with hands in my pockets while I hesitated.

"J-Jennie!" I called a bit too loudly.

"Yes Lisa?" She turned gracefully.

"Ah if you don't mind me asking... are you perhaps free tomorrow?" I looked down trying to hide my blushing face as I scratched my nape.

"I'll be out here at 6." I heard her say.

I shot my head up in shock, totally fazed by her unbelievable reply, "h-huh?" I asked again, startled as she just giggled.

"I'll be out on this porch at 6 in the afternoon. I'll be glad if you show up." She gummy smiled before waving one last time as the door covered her.

I stood there frozen processing. Then suddenly jumping when a few minutes past by. I cleared my throat.

"Wow she said yes..." I mumbled.

And with that I walked home eyes widen as I was still in shock by her answer.

Jennie's POV*

I entered the kitchen giggling as I placed the plastic bags on the counter top.

"What's with you?" I see Jisoo unnie smiled while her eyebrows frowned.

"Nothing. Hehe I just met someone. Haha and she was so cute." I ranted to Jisoo unnie as I packed the snacks neatly in the cupboard.

"Well well. Making friends so soon eh Kim Jennie?" She helped me after a laugh.

"Hahaha unnie! But not gonna lie, she made me feel different." I confessed.

Jisoo unnie stares at me with a weird smile and I just laughed and her expression.

"Ok and what time and you gonna be home by?" She questioned as I explained everything while we ate dinner.

"I don't know yet unnie but don't worry I'll text you the details tomorrow." I winked playfully.

"Ok then. I'll clean up here. Mandu has to get some beauty sleep for her date tomorrow." She smirked and I smacked her arm.

"Very funny chicken." I rolled my eyes and went up stairs smiling widely.
