Chapter 14:The New Deal

Season 3 Episode 10
"Babe you need to calm down," I say to Nik as I hold onto his arms from throwing crap. "He stills are family I have to get them back," Nik says as he starts pacing around our bedroom. "Nik, Stefan knows that you would kill him if he does anything to them," I say as Nik sits down next to me on the bed. "I was going to wake them... I was going to wake them all up so we could be a family again," Nik says looking down.

"Baby, we will get them back and then we will take revenge on him from taking them," I say to Nik. "There is something you need to know though... there is another coffin that is locked... my mother is in it," Nik says to me. "You killed her," I say to Nik. "And I put her in a coffin," Nik says. "Hey let's go to the Grill and have a drink or two," I say to Nik as I take his hand and we are on our way there.

"Don't mind me," Nik says as we walk up to Damon and Elena who are talking. "Klaus, "Elena says. "You going to do this in the grill, in front of everyone? It's a little beneath you, don't you think?" Damon asks Nik. "I don't know what you are talking about. I just came down to my local pub to grab a drink with a mate, and Alexandria. Get a round, then, would you, Tony?" Nik says to Tony. "I'm surprised you stuck around town long enough for happy hour," Damon says. 

"My sister seems to be missing need to sort that out," Nik says to Damon. "Cute blonde bombshell? Psycho? Shouldn't be too hard to find," Damon as to Nik as I walk towards Elena bumping shoulders with her as I go over to the bar to get myself a bourbon and a whiskey. I continue to drink until Nik comes up to me telling me we are leaving. 

"Nik, what are doing now?" I ask as we leave the Grill. "I'm going over to the Salvatore's for a bit to have a talk with Damon you are welcome to join but you don't have to," Nik says as we get in the car. "Okay, we can go together then," I say as Nik starts driving and I interlock our fingers together as Nik drives with his other hand.

"I think it's about time we had a drink, don't you?" Nik asks Damon as we make our way into the room Damon's in. "I'd say we are overdue," Damon says. "Well, you've been so busy, what with all your plotting and scheming and trying to kill me breaking your sister's trust with you," Nik says. "You know me never miss a chance to plan an epic failure," Damon says. "Don't be so hard on yourself, who could have guessed your own brother would betray you?" Nik says to Damon.

"Well, I did have a front-row seat when your sister lied to you," Damon says. "Yeah, well she's a pickle that one. And you say you have no idea of her whereabouts?" Nik asks Damon. "That's the ting with younger siblings. You just never know what they're going to do. Right Alex? Damon says to me and Nik. "Shut up," I say to Damon as I walk towards him taking his drink and downing it in one go. "Drink?" Damon asks Nik.

"Cheers mate," Nik says. "Down the hatch," Damon says right back before having some of the bourbons. "You know we've actually got a lot in common, you and I," Nik says. "Really? Heh. Well yeah maybe we can bond over our mutual loathing of my brother. why are you so mad at him? He stole something?" Damon asks. "My family. The Originals. I had them daggered boxed up awaiting the day when i saw fit to wake them. And he went in and pinched the bloody lot," Nik says.

"Of course he did. Ah, such a buzzkill, my baby bro. Well, I'd love to find him. Just the trouble is I sure as hell don't work for you," Damon says. "You know your drink stinks of vervain. So I can't compel you. There'd be no point in killing you because you're actually the one with the most hope of getting me what I need. And yet it would be seem a demonstration is in order. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough when I told you to find Stefan. Oh well. It seems you people respond best to displays of violence. Why don't you take this as an example of my reach?" Nik says before calling someone on the phone and tells him to do something. "Oh and by the way I won't kill you only because you are Alexandria's favorite brother but that doesn't' mean I will kill anyone you care about," Nik says before finishing the bourbon and taking my hand and going to the car.

"Do we get to go home now?" I ask Nik as we leave the house and start going to the car and driving away. "Yes, love we get to go home now," Nik says before kissing my hand and intertwining our fingers together as he drove with one hand again.

"Where are you going?" I ask Nik. "Elena wants me to meet with her," Nik says as he gets dressed and starts to head out. "You won't be long now right?" I ask Nik. "I will back soon love to go to sleep," Nik says before leaving closing the door behind him.

Dream...

"Hello?" I question as I"m in the Salvatore house looking around for something. "Hello," This person says. "Who are you?" I question as I take a step closer towards the person. "I wanted to see you mother, I will be home soon I love you," Sebastian says before disappearing and causes me to jolt awake.

"Love, you alright?" Nik asks as he sits up with me in the middle of the night. "He came to me. Sebastian came to see me," I say crying as I continue to cry in Nik's arm's until I fall asleep again.
