It was still fairly early when Therese hurried down the corridors of the building, searching for the right room. It was her first semester at university and she was more than just excited. The young woman was offered a scholarship by the Times so she could afford to study for the next three years, which has been her dream for a while. She was a little out of breath when she finally faced the door of her first class; Photography. Therese didn't think it would be unlocked already so she was pretty surprised when it swung open and revealed an empty lecture hall. Her eyes scanned the room rigorously, it was huge with endless rows of chairs and a big desk at the front. If she wanted to or not, Therese was a little intimidated as she realized she had responsibilities now. Things in her life had changed so quickly, and sometimes it was hard to keep up with everything happening at once, especially since Therese was a rather sensitive person.
She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice the tall figure now standing behind her. Therese startled slightly when she felt a firm grip on her shoulder, turning around and now standing face to face with who must be the most beautiful woman she has ever seen.
"It's early. What are you already doing in here?", the woman asked, her voice raspy and deep. She had blonde hair, piercing blue eyes and the most intriguing gaze, her entire appearance literally screamed authority and dominance. Therese gulped. "Oh shit. I mean, I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to invade or anything. It's my first day and I didn't want to be late but now I'm super early and-"My god, Therese. What the hell are you doing? Be cool, for once. Damn.
"Well as I said, I'm sorry." She ended her rant and kept her eyes pinned to the ground. She looked up though, when she heard a chuckle coming from the breathtaking blonde across from her. "Now that's what I call Monday Motivation. I'm Professor Carol Aird. And you are...?" "Therese. Therese Belivet." Carol just nodded, smirking ever so slightly at the younger woman before striding towards her desk. Therese observed how graceful she looked and how her hips swayed delicately with every step she took. Out of all the women she knew no woman seemed quite like her, radiating pure elegance and confidence."Don't you find it intimidating sometimes, speaking in front of so many people?" The question left Therese's lips before she could even think about it properly and she mentally scolded herself for trying so desperately to start a conversation with her gorgeous professor.
"No, not at all." The answer did not surprise the brunette a single bit. She decided not to start any further small talk as Mrs. Aird did not seem to enjoy it very much. Therese took a seat, set her bag down under her table and started reading a book she had borrowed from Dannie, her best friend. She didn't look up, even when she felt curious eyes on her...Carol was observing her from the corner of her eye while going over some of the submitted portfolios absentmindedly. The young woman had caught her attention from the moment she had seen her standing in the auditorium all on her own. She was rather short and petite, her dark brown bob framed her angelic face perfectly and her big, hazel eyes were filled with curiosity and innocence. Carol's eyes fluttered close thinking about her soft, timid voice and the way she had blushed when she had explained herself. What a strange girl... Flung out of space.
