"Can I go out with my friends this weekend?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because I said so."
I let out a huff as my younger sister comes down the hall.
"Bye! I'll be back later."
I gape Dad as she walks over to the door.
"She can go out, but I can't?"
He shrugs.
"That is so unfair!"
I exclaim, frustrated.
"Well, life's unfair."
He walks away.
My sister opens up the door again.
"That's why I ask a week in advance."
