Where Negan should've died

[ Trigger Warning + spoilers ]

"They never cared about you, they wanted to escape but they were afraid. No one dared to kill you, because they knew it would have consequences, but I never stopped trying." Said Rick, "You've killed some of MY people, and you gotta pay for that. We want justice." Negan looked down, knowing he wasn't gonna live a lot longer. He knew someday he would be the victim. "Where is Lucille?" Negan whispered. "Ha, she's ashes." Rick laughed. Tears flooded from Negans eyes and he started mumbling all kinds of swearwords.

"Carl didn't want me to kill you, he wanted peace. But here's the thing, all of us here want peace too and that's not gonna happen unless you're dead. You killed Glenn and Abraham, and made us watch. That's something I will never forgive you for, too many of my people died because of the Saviors." Ricks eyes started welling up.

"If you want to kill me, just get it over already!" Negan shouted.

Rick had the knife and he pressed it agains Negans throat. "As you wish. Oh, by the way, i'm gonna let you suffer." Rick responded calmly.

The knife slowly cut open part of Negans throat and the blood flowed out. He started to gargle and with the power he had left he looked up to the sky and said "I'll find you soon Lucille." The Saviors that were once his loyal mates were now standing there with a grin on their faces. They wanted to be free and it finally worked.

Negans body lost its strength and he collapsed. "Fuck you Negan." Said Rick right before Negan let out his last breath.

A couple people were shouting angrily, but most of the people were cheering. The cruel man who ruined so many lives was now dead, and they could finally start living again.

I figured I should make an ending where Negan died. Gosh, I was so mad that he didn't die haha. I guess i'll write a couple stories in this book with the endings I wanted for some characters :) I hope you liked Negans death >:)
