This week, the producers decided to have troupe members or eliminated pros coach a team of partners. You and Antonio had been eliminated already, so you were up for grabs. The season 19 pairs were all lined up in front of you. There were only four teams left. Alfonso and Whitney, Bethany and Derek, Janel and Val, and Sadie and Mark. Janel and Val chose first. They chose Tony as their coach. Alfonso and Whitney chose Henry. Bethany and Derek went for Lindsay. Mark and Sadie went next. Everyone was pressuring you to date Mark. He was cute and all, but you just didn't know. You had a bit of a crush on him. You guys were close, but there was always this tension between you that made it a bit awkward. That didn't stop you from hanging out though. You guys were dance partners so sometimes you had to get up close and personal, but that's just part of the job. Right? Mark and Sadie whispered for a bit. Then Sadie stood up straighter and said "(y/n)!" She flashed the biggest grin and it looked like her dimples might cave in. She made you smile and you walked over to your new team. "Hey!" whispered Mark when you got over there. You gave him a smile and settled into your group. you were standing in between Mark and Sadie. Both had an arm around your waist. Mark's arm was strong and warm and you liked the feel of it there. "There's a twist!" laughed the producers. Derek groaned along with every other pro in the room. The producers laughed. "Since our professionals most likely picked our coaches, our stars must choose an assistant coach for this week." I looked at Mark, confused. Then at Sadie. "Your copilot this week will be a friend, family member, old coach. Anyone close to your star. It is their choice. Stars, please don't tell your partner who you chose until they show up at the studio." and with that, they left. "So what dance style do we have this week?" You asked them. "We've got Salsa." Mark replied.

The next morning at the studio, Mark and I were stressing over who would come to the studio today. We were hoping they wouldn't be too harsh a critic. Salsa is a very sexy dance and we want her family's input. But we don't want them to take away the essence of the dance. We were playing around with choreography when we heard a knock on the door. Mark tensed up just a little bit and you grabbed his hand and squeezed. He squeezed back. In walks Sadie. Behind her is her dad, Willie, and her uncles, Jase and Jep. Behind them is her dad's uncle, Si. You were surprised, confused, excited, and scared all at the same time. "Hey!" Yelled all of her family members at once. "Hi!" you said back, stunned. Sadie ran up and whispered in your ear "I'm so sorry. I invited my dad and when the rest caught wind of it they said that they were coming and they drove here themselves before us." "It's okay. I can deal." you whispered back. After introducing yourself to all of them, you told them what dance Sadie was doing and what it entails. "Exactly how sexy are we talking?" said a bellowing voice with a country accent. "We'll show you a dry cut version of it." Mark said. He plugged in his phone while I put on my Latin shoes. I brought an extra pair for Sadie, so I brought those over to her. Mark started the music and strode over to you. You got into hold and begun. You could feel all eyes piercing your skin. You and Mark were connected in every way. You loved the feeling of dancing with Mark. You really do love Mark, but you don't know what do to about it. You were waiting for someone to faint once hip action kicked in. When you were done you looked first at Sadie's dad. He was still processing and what he just saw. "That was the dry version?" asked Uncle Si, as he asked me to call him. "Yes, sir." Mark said. "I'm trying to choreograph a dance not so sexual but it's very hard." Salsa is a very sexy dance. How am I going to choreograph this? You thought to yourself.
_________
Sadie's family was very nice and hilarious. For lunch, instead of going out, they insisted that we come to their hotel and eat the deer steaks they brought to LA with them. They were very good cooks. When we went back to the studio, Si napped on the show staircase in the back of the room. The Robertsons were concerned with a couple of the lifts,so that's what we were working on. They were concerned with a lift where Mark hoists Sadie in the air and spins hit around his shoulders. They didn't like how Mark had to put his hand on Sadie's butt during it. Mark tried to explain that it was for safety reasons. "Here, let me try." You said, always trying to be a people pleaser. Mark hoisted you up and stopped right at the point of question. "Try going up with your hand on my lower back." "Are you sure about this (y/n)?" Mark said shakily. "Yeah." No, you thought. Mark pulled you up and then put you right back down. "I don't have you. That won't work." Mark said. "Try with it on the back of my thigh." Mark got you in the air. "Your sliding right out of my hands." He yelled. He tried pulling you down, but he lost control and you hit the ground. "Shit!" yelled Mark. He helped you sit up. Your back hurt a little bit, but you were fine. "You okay (y/n)?" asked Sadie. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm really sorry but it's not safe for Sadie or for Mark any other way." Mark was still a little shaken. "I'm okay." You told him. "I just don't know what I would have done with myself if you had gotten hurt." "I'm okay." Out of the blue, Mark kissed you. It was the best kiss you had ever had. You loved Mark and hoped he felt the same way.
