Amnesia

"Could you pat my hairs, please?"

Spring. The snow begins to melt, the birds begin to sing, and small flowers begin to bloom. School time has come again. The spring marathon was being prepared. Nishikata and Takagi walked together to school and talked with each other. Nishikata was still sad, that Takagi can leave him, but for now he was happy. 

- Hey, Nishikata-kun. Wanna contest? 

- Sure. 

- Let's run to school, and loser will buy to winner a snack. 

- Ok. 

"I'm happy be with her! But what will happen when she leave me? She teased me a lot, but i really don't wanna lose her. Maybe i should tell her. I ask Nakai. He know what to do!"

While, Nishikata thought, Takagi ran far enough. When he saw it, he hears her laugh and he tried to catch her. But... Yeah, he didn't. 


*at school* 

- Hahaha!! I win! 

- It's not fair! I-I was space out!

- And who's this fault? -  she said with teasingly voice

- Grrr! Takagi-san! 

- Hahahhaaha!!! Let's go. *took his hand* Don't forget, you'll buy to me a soda today. *smile* 

- Yeah, yeah... (Man! How can i lose to her?! Again!) 

- Maybe because you need be more focused. 

- Wha-? How did- You totally read my mind!!! 

- ... - Takagi can't hold herself and started laugh like crazy and wipe her tears. - Oh, jeez! Nishikata-kun!!! Pffthahaha!!! You the best! 

Nishikata blushed and embarrassingly went to class. Takagi came to him and hugged him from back, and Nishikata blushed more.

- Wh... What are you doing? 

- Are you embarrassing? - she said with very familiar teasingly voice. - Do you afraid that someone can see us together? *smile*

- Uh... (What wrong with her?! She acting so... So... So familiar... O_O) - T-Takagi-san... Do you remember some new stuff? 

- Yup. *giggle* 

In class, Takagi talked with her closest friend: Takagawa. And Nishikata looking for Nakai. When he found him, they went from class and go to bathroom; in there also was Hamaguchi, who decided help Nishikata.

- So, what happened? - asked Nakai.

- Well... *sigh* ... Takagi is going to leave.

- Why? Because of her amnesia? - asked Hamaguchi

- Yeah... She said that if she don't remember all, then she'll be in hospital. I... I don't wanna it! I really afraid for her! I don't wanna lose her!!! What i can to do? 

- And what are you can do, Nishikata? - said Nakai. - You can't do anything with that.  

- Wait, Nakai! - stopped him Hamaguchi. - Did Takagi-chan remember everything about friends? Stuff? Parents? Places? You?! 

- Um... Well, yeah, she did. Not much, but she remember a lot stuff!

- And you? 

- ... *turn away* 

- As i though. Takagi-chan asked me and Houjou about some boy with who she always spended time. Guess, who is this, Nakai.

- And you didn't tell her?! Why?! Nishikata - you're dumbass! - said Nakai with angry.

- I... I can't!!! 

- Why?!! - both yelled at him.

- B-Because... Because i... I.... I don't wanna brake our friendship! She don't remember me at all! And what if she remember only bad things about me!!! Our friendship will be broken... She'll be hate me... 

- Because you coward, Nishikata. - said Nakai. - You afraid to tell her truth not because friendship, but because she will be teasing you again!

Hearing that, Nishikata become anger and started fight with Nakai. He continued fight and Nakai broke his nose, as Nishikata hit in his ribs, but Hamaguchi intervened in the fight and calmed them down. 

- Calm down! Both of you!!! You, Nakai, wash your face. And you, Nishikata, go to nurse. Your nose is bleeding. I won't tell anyone about this mess; i hope you won't tell too.
Hamaguchi leave this area, and go to bathroom when he saw Houjou. 

- What happened? 

- What are you talking about? 

- I saw everything. Why they fight? Is that because of Takagi's amnesia? 

- You really smart. Yeah. 

- I see. Thanks. *slightly blush* I wonder, will they friends again? 

- I think, yes. In next day they'll forget about it. 

After a few minutes, Nakai returns but without Nishikata; he was really angry and Mano-chan came to him and hugged him tightly. He patted her hairs, and Takagi saw it was a little blush and smile. When suddenly... 

*Flashback*

" - Hey, Nis-#@$$%kat-)(a! Do you like my new hairstyle?

- Uh.... T-Takagi-san... It's you?! I didn't recognize you! 

- Oh... So you don't like my new hairstyle?

- N-NO! No!! I mean... I just... It's so unusual to see you with like that. Y-You look n-ni... good! Good! 

- You wanna said: nice? 

- Uh... *blush* 

- Hahahaha!!! You red again! Prove it! Prove that you like my new hairstyle!

- W-Wha- How?! 

- *grin* Pat it.

- Uh... No! NO! I WON'T!!! *blush*

- *pout* You mean, Nis-#shi#$$#kat-()a!

- Grrrr!!! Okay! Okay!!! While no one see. 

This boy patted my hair. It's so sweet! I remember this feelings! His hand... My hairs... It's so magical! I feel like i almost "unlocked" his name! Almost! Almost!"

When Nishikata came to class, lesson is started. Everything was usual, but Nishikata and Nakai were angry at each other. Takagi sees it and tried to cheer him up.

- Takagi-san, could you give me erase. 

- Hmmm? Which one of my hand a erase? 

- ... Right? 

- Nope. Left. *giggle* You lose. 

- Again... How many times i lost to you? 

- I don't know. I don't remember. 

- -_- Give me that erase! 

- Here. By the way, soon will be marathon. Will you join? 

- I... I don't... Maybe. 

- Come on! I wanna have a fun with you! 

- ... 

- If you win, then i'll-  

- If i win, then you'll stay with me.

- Whaaa? B-But i can't. I can't! I wish i can do that! 

- Then try! I believe you can! I count on you, Takagi-san!

- *gasp* *blush a little* I-I... I'll try my best.
