you grabbed one of the breadsticks you grabbed and munched on it. joseph groaned and stopped at a cafe.

he looked at you and grinned, "is it good?" you nodded and kept on munching. "joseph, i have to go home now. take care of y/n." said erina as she started walking away.

"wait, should i take you home?" offered joseph to his grandmother, but erina waved her hand in dismiss and kept walking.

joseph sighed and leaned against the glass pane and looked up in the sky. you grabbed one of your breaksticks and offered one to joseph.

he smiled and took it out of your hand and bit on it. you looked down and tapped your foot on the pavement, "i don't know who to repay you. thank you for saving me, twice."

joseph looked at you then he lightly patted your back. "there's no need to repay me, i'm a gentleman who helps women!" you chuckled and continued eating.

then suddenly, a figure landed on the rode with smoke lightly covering him for sight. as the smoke clears, a man slowly stood up and looked joseph with a glare.

joseph squinted his eyes "straizo?" then the man suddenly ran towards him at full speed, joseph flinched and grabbed you out of the way.

as the man crashed into the cafe, alot of people screamed, ran out of cafe and the vicinity. you felt joseph's tight grip on your shoulder, he leaned towards your ear and whispered;

"get outta here." you looked to joseph and saw a smirk looking down at you, you raised your eyebrow at his expression and nodded.

you ran out of the battlefield but you ran to an alley to watch the fight. you saw the same yellow flicker in joseph's hand slightly, but instead he still talked.

"guess you broke huh?" the attacker growled at joseph and lunged at him. joseph then pulled out a tommy gun and started firing.

you covered your ears to the rapid fires of the gun. as you think it's safe now, you looked at the battle again to see the man on the ground.

then it twitched.

it gave you chills of this scene, the man slowly stood up and examined his bullet filled body. he giggled and the bullets fell out of his body.

then his head slowly twisted into a nasty matter to face you and grinned at you before grabbing you.

you screamed and struggled to get out of his grip but his long nails dug to your shoulder which made you bleed and whine in pain.

he landed on top the brooklyn bridge and smirked down joseph as he followed after you two. "well joseph, why don't you save your girlfriend?" he taunted.

joseph gave him a weird look, "she's not my girlfriend." you heard the man groan.

"i'm going to kill her if you don't save her." joseph rolled his eyes, "go ahead." your eyes widen and looked down at joseph to see if he's joking.

what the fuck joseph.

"ha?! you're going to let me kill this woman?" then joseph jumped up on the metal lining and started walking towards the man.

"yeah, i mean. i only met her a few hours ago." tears started to brim on your eyes and you let your head down, not wanting to looked at him.

after a few minuets of talking and taunting, you suddenly felt that you're falling. you looked up to see the bridge's metal lining rapidly getting further and further.

then joseph swooped in and grabbed your falling figure and landed on the ground safely. you looked at joseph and he's smiling down at you.

you just looked down and got out of his arms, joseph looked confused. "y/n, what's wrong?" he asked.

you shook your head, then you felt a big hand on your shoulder "hey, tell me pl-"

"there's much bigger threat in this world." he was cut off by the man who abducted you for a few minuets in the ground, slowly turning into ashes.

"what?" joseph slowly walked towards the man, leaving alone in the middle of the road. you looked at the horizon and saw the sun slowly creeping up on the horizon.

it's sunrise already huh?

you didn't listen to the conversation now did you care. you started to walk away and put your hands to your pockets.

did joseph mean that? pfft- whatever. i'm just a side character.

"y/n!" you stopped and looked back to see joseph right behind you. "what?" he smiled widely and grabbed your shoulder but you winced due from the pain.

joseph let go and looked at your injury, "we'll get that fix but do you wanna do on a trip?" he asked, as he's jumping happily.

"trip? what kind of trip?"

"wanna go to italy?" your eyes widen, "i-i do!! but i'm not registered nor do i have a passport. ." joseph scoffs and waved his hand.

"no need for that. the Speedwagon Foundation will provide us!!"

"Speedwagon Foundation?" you asked as you slightly tilted your head. "it's a company that my uncle had!" you nodded.

"sure, why not."
