River stretched his arms giving a slight sigh before reaching his good friends door. He had been planning ever since they met to ask him out on valentines day. He thought it would be thoughtful and romantic, opening Tsunamis door he walked in and heard humming from the kitchen. Walking in he gripped some flowers that had been in his hands for Tsunami. River wasnt even sure if he liked flowers but everythings worth a try. Walking in he saw Tsunami and sugarpop talking and laughing together.. the picture deeply saddened River... maybe Tsunami had already got a valentines. River dropped the flowers and left as fast as he could trying not to burst out in tears. He went home that day and cried in bed only for the next day to be worse. He offered to take Tsunami out for lunch and they headed to a near by cafe. A cat cafe maybe? Walking in they sat done and looked at the menu. "So uh you and sugerpop huh?" River whispered trying to bring up the subject. Tsunami gave him wide eyes and a big smile "me and sugarpop!? Are you joking? Shes old enough to be my gran." River had never thought of it that way and laughed it out. "Talking about relationships. Someone left these sweet smelling and beautiful flowers outside my kitchen today. I was so sad.. because they where on the ground they got all smashed and ruined." River felt guilt fill his stomach in a matter of seconds. He shouldnt have ran away.. river coughed looking away "uhm tsunami.."
"Yes river?" He replied "I was the one who left those flowers there." Tsunamis took a shocked expression and he started talking rapidly. "Butyouraguyitsnotlikeicanlikeyouidontevenunderstandwhatsexualityiamhaventyounoticed!?" River rubbed his neck and sighed looking down "so you can date girls but never give a guy a chance and you say your still
exploring. Just realize your heterosexual already." Pouted and hissed River. Tsunami sighed and looked away, both where quiet for quite awhile untill Tsunami let out a big sigh and said quietly "Fine, I'll give it a try.. we can date for awhile but if I end up hating it or not liking guys then we'll break up." River felt his heart almost explode and she hugged Tsunami as tight as he could. Tsunami then looked away petting his new boyfriends head "but where gonna take this slow kay?" River nodded "also get me more of those flowers or ealse" he snickered River laughed alittle to.. and so days went by and not once did River disappoint Tsunami. Both had never shared much intimacy rather then hugging, untill one day River and Tsunami where sitting on Tsunamis couch watching something when River slowly closed the gap between there faces and gave Tsunami a small peck on his lips. Both shared a soft giggle before Tsunami hugged into River giving him a small kiss to. They seemed to be enjoying themselves together but, Would Tsunami change how he felt?..
Or was he just lying about his feelings.
