Just another family dinner. Boring, bland and of course, full of tension.

"Jun, can I skip this dinner for this time? I am not feeling well." I say, giving an excuse so I can skip on this dreaded and horrid family dinner.

"No, we can't, Gyu! Father says he has something important to announce." My brother, Yeonjun says as he pulls up his black tie and checks his reflection in the mirror that is hung in our long hallways in the mansion for one last time.

"That is stupid. I bet that he is talking about Felix again. Probably bragging how Felix can manage to secure a contract worth billion dollars with other big companies." I roll my eyes at the thought of a certain red haired Australian boy.

"Can you not be such a downer, Gyu? Just for once. I want to have a peaceful family dinner without any arguments with you and Father. Please give up on your prejudice on Helen and Felix. Plus, don't you think you change into something formal?" Yeonjun asks as he looks at me with concern.

"What? He does not care about us so I do not care how I look like in the freaking family dinner! This is perfectly fine!" I retort, gesturing to white t-shirt that I match with pale pink cardigans, a pair of black skinny jeans and white Filas. I could care less about what the old hag thinks.

Why should I care when all of his attention is on the gold digger and useless son of hers?

My older brother only heaves a disappointed sigh before straightening his black blazer.

"May God bless this dinner." He mumbles quietly but loud enough for me to hear. I shrug as the servant who is donned in his uniform opens the door for us. Long fancy table with white lace tablecloth, long wooden chairs that resembles royalty and on top of that, delicious and mouth watering food on the table.

My mood is originally happy when there are a lot of delicious food on the table. However, it sours as I notice my father, my stepmother and stepbrother are already seated at their table, waiting for Yeonjun and I to sit.

My father's dark brown eyes narrow at me as I take a seat beside Yeonjun who is sitting directly opposite of that horrendous and gold digging lady while me, sitting opposite of the good for nothing.

The red haired boy only flashes a brightest smile at me, his freckled face looks at me. I roll my eyes as my father opens his mouth.

"Choi Beomgyu, what the hell on earth are you wearing? I am having family dinner, not the freaking family picnic!" My father bellows, his face red.

"WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR TUXEDO? I SURE AS HELL BOUGHT OVER TWENTY OF THEM!" He yells, banging his fists on the table, causing the cultreys on the table clink.

"Dear, calm down." Helen says, before flashing a sweet smile that makes me sick inside before clinging onto my father's arms, with her chest right in front of his face.

"Maybe, he is just going through some silly adolescent phase."

I scoff at her words, just as my older brother nudges me. I give him a "what?" look as he gives me a "not-tonight-please" look. I let out a mental sigh and decide to listen to my older brother for once.

"So, Yeonjun hyung, how's the business?" Felix asks as he places a piece of marinated grill steak into his lips.

"Oh, it's going really well. The business keeps growing day by day! I love how the cafe is filled up with customers especially during the evenings where students get to stop by and rest in the cafe!" My older brother says, before leaning over the table as if wanting to tell that Australian boy a secret. A cheerful and enthusiastic smile forms on Felix's face as he leans over to Yeonjun.

Then, Yeonjun wriggles his eyebrows before winking at him.

"Ka-ching! Ka-ching! That means a lot of money coming in!"

Felix could not helped but to laugh as soon as he finished that statement. Helen and my father could not helped but to let out a proud smile towards the older male.

"I am glad that you have your first success at your very first business venture, Yeonjun." My father says before ruffles Yeonjun's blue hair. Yeonjun only smiles before picking up his wine glass and tilts to the direction of our father.

"Father, if it's not for your business-minded genes and your business tips, I would not have been this successful." Yeonjun says as he clinks his glass against our father.

"Oh my, Yeonjun is such a lady charmer like his own father! No wonder, the cafe is filled with people! Like father like son!" Helen says, beaming a bright smile at Yeonjun.

"Thanks, mom." Yeonjun says, however he has failed to hide his voice crack at the mention of mom.

"What about you, Felix? How are the chains?" My father asks as he places a forkful of ravioli into his mouth.

"Father, I'm glad you asked. It has been doing great. I am just a little busy, that's all." Felix says before smiling.

"I always know that I can trust the business to both you and Yeonjun. Maybe, you and Yeonjun can conspire together about the chain. After all, Yeonjun has never out of interesting ideas to lure costumers and income in. What do you think, Felix?" My father asks, his eyes full of loving and affectionate towards Felix.

I am jealous for a moment. He always notices and acknowledges his older son and his stepson, but his youngest son... He could only think of one word which is disappointment

"I was thinking about the same thing for the past few days but I do not know how to voice it out. I would love to conspire with Yeonjun hyung as he is a great businessman with a lot of creative and innovative ideas! I would also love to learn more from him as I am quite new to this!" Felix gushes, rubbing the back of his head.

"What about you, Yeonjun?"

Yeonjun only smiles and says:

"Sure, father. I would love to conspire with Felix."

"Great to know that both of you are going to work together." My father says as he nods his head firmly.

"Oh! Beomgyu, how's the dance academy?!" Felix asks as he looks at me with excitement in his heart.

That is when I could feel that hell is impending on me. Basically everyone except my father knows that I go to a dance academy so I can be a dancer one day. I try not to look down as my father looks at me with pure rage in his eyes.
