Chapter 36

     "Merry Christmas!" Everyone said at the same time as Marceline and I walked into the house. 

"Merry Christmas!" We both said as we hugged everyone. Marceline hugged the girls and Eric, Cindia, and the kids. Liam immediately came up to Marci and hugged her. Jaimo, Marley, Zyah, and Nyjah were finally introduced.

"Hey were is the old man at?" I said looking at Presley. 

"He is in the kitchen." She said fixing her santa hat. I looked over to Marci and let her know I'd be right back. She smiled and nodded and continued to talk to the girls. I went into the kitchen to find my dad finishing his talk on his cell phone, he looked up and seen me and waved as he was getting off the phone. 

"Sounds good. Alright you have a great night and we'll talk to you soon. Merry Christmas. Okay bye." 

I smiled as I walked up to him for a hug, "Hey pops." 

He hugged me tight and padded my back, "Good to see you son." 

He pulled away observing me, "How have you been?" 

I smiled, "I've been great, touring is great, the guys are great and I actually brought someone I'd love you to meet." 

My dad looked surprised, "Who is it?" 

I looked at my feet and back up, "Well back in September I met this woman, she was one of the winners for the VIP." 

I watch him closely as he continued to nod, "Well ever since we met, I've had strong feelings for her. She is great and I really do like her and-" 

My dad cut me off, "Bruno when were you gonna tell me about this? I know you've had hiccups in the past, but that doesn't mean you have to hide from me." 

I shrugged, "I wanted to tell you sooner, I just wanted to see where it was going between her and I before I brought her around the family." I watched him as he watched me, "She means a lot to me and I know this more now than I ever did before." 

He stood there nodding, "You said you brought her here?"  

My shoulders finally relaxed and it felt like I could breathe again, "Yes she's in the living room with everyone else. The girls are keeping her company." 

He finally smiled at me and nodded as he padded my shoulders, "Well let's meet this special girl."

     "No seriously I can't remember where I got it, I've had this dress for a long time. I just found it somewhere in Michigan." 

I said taking another sip of wine, "Michigan? How is it over there?" Tahiti asked. 

I exhaled as I shook my head, "Boring and you never know what kind of weather you're gonna get, and well, in my case just filled with drama." 

All the girls started talking at the same time about Hawaii, it made me laugh. "Okay, okay give us some space here." Bruno said walking into the room with Peter Senior and immediately made my nerves start back up again. 

"I'm only giving you room cause dad is with you." Presley shot at Bruno. 

"You need to lay out a red carpet for me to dance on every time I come into a room.That's your new job." 

"You don't get a red carpet, The Lylas get the red carpet." Tiara said as the girls laughed and agreed. 

Bruno shot Tiara a look as Peter Senior started laughing as he walked up to me while his kids continued to go back and fourth, I stood up extending my hand, "Nice to finally meet you Mr. Hernandez. I'm Marceline, Marci for short."
