The atmosphere is not the same as it always was. Everyone is quiet and wouldn't look at each other in the eyes. Belle caught on the moment she woke up. During sleepovers, she was usually woken up by one of the boys pouring water on her face but today she was woken up by soft shakes to her body and little taps on the cheeks. It was not normal.
Belle throws her school bag over her shoulders, sprinting down the stairs, missing a couple steps like she usually does. She walks into the kitchen with a bright smile spread across her face but when she notices the atmosphere, her face immediately changes into a sad one.
