Everyone seemed to notice the awkwardness between Evelyn and Alejandro in the past week. Alejandro didn't talk about her much and Evelyn barely came and sat down to eat with them.
It's a Friday night and no one had made any plans to hang so they all went their own separate ways when Alejandro gets a text from Evelyn asking if she could come over and he obviously said she could because one, she's his girlfriend and two, because he actually had nothing to do.
Alejandro rushes home, gets washed and changed before getting some snacks ready for when Evelyn gets there and she arrives at half-five. She greets Alejandro's mum with a hug and his little brother with a soft kiss on the cheek before making her way to her boyfriend's room.
She knocks and walks in, not waiting to hear a reply. When Alejandro sees her, he runs to pull her into a hug but she stops him and backs away a step.
