Chapter 26: I'm Sorry

After two days, we were getting prepared for our next destination, which they said it was North Carolina. We're taking a mini break from Magcon to go back home. Well, you know...They all took a place in Elizabeth's heart so she has more than three kids. So Nash's house is their house, which I think is soo adorable.

~Back in North Carolina~

We arrived at Nash's house. Wow, it still looks the same way as it looked three years ago. It feels so weird to come back. Really weird...I stared at the pictures in the walls. There were some of Nash as a baby, his eyes were so tiny and blue, well, more blue than now. His eyes always intrigued me...I don't know, they just have something special.

"Oh my, Sammy!?" That voice, I remember...

"Elizabeth!?" I asked while turning around. She came rushing to me and gave me a big hug. She hasn't changed at all.

"Sam, how are you?" she asked. We pulled away.

"Everything great" I smiled. After that she went to say hello to her biological children and to her fake ones, as I said...Elizabeth is the mom of everyone here.

They started talking and I decided to explore the house. I walked upstairs, walking through the hallways. I stopped infront of a door.

Nash's room.

He wouldn't mind if I look, right? I turned the door knob and let out a big sigh. I opened it slowly, and it made a creak sound.

I walked in. Everything looked exactly how it was. Maybe a few more posters and pictures. But other than that...Is the same.

I sat down in Nash's bed. It was soft and comfortable. I closed my eyes and sink my face in the pillow.

"Are you tired baby?" I heard a voice. I opened my eyes abruptly and jumped.

"Nash...I was just-" okay, I had no excuses.

He chuckled and caressed my cheek. "Is okay, now you understand why I sleep until noon"

I giggled. I looked at my surroundings and smiled.

"Nothing changed" I said. He nodded in agreement. He came closer to me and I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Hey, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go for a walk, or...Are you too tired?" he asked. I looked at him and nodded.

"I would love to...I want to see if something changed"

"Not really...Just the fact that you weren't here" he said and kissed my cheek.

We stood up and went downstairs. The guys were eating something Elizabeth took from the oven. What a surprise, note the sarcasm.

"Mom, we're going out" Nash informed.

"Okay sweetie, wear a jacket it's kind of chilly outside" said his mom.

"Mom" Nash groaned.

"Later you will get a cold" she said and walked over Nash to kiss him in the cheek. "You're my baby remember?" Nash glanced at me. I bit my lower lip trying to hold my laughter. I knew maybe Elizabeth was doing it on purpose, but the scene was quite amusing.

Nash finally got out of her grip and then walked over to me. Putting his arm around my shoulder.

"I-I don't need a coat" he said while scratching the back of his head. I chuckled.

"Nash?"

"Yes?"

"Get the coat"

"Yes babe" he said and went to pick out two coats for us.
