Chapter 9

............. Not edited....

Alec's POV
The next morning

I woke up before Angel did and I had my arm around her waist while her head was laying on my chest with her hand on my stomach.

I smiled at how we looked. I was still fully clothed in my leather jacket, t-shirt and clothes. Even my shoes were still on.

She had on the white hospital gown. Her hair was sliding down her face, so I gently moved her hair behind her ear. She hugged me tighter and snuggled against me.

I silently laughed at this. There was no clock on the walls of the plain room, so I grabbed my phone out of my front pocket being cautious not to wake Lexi up.

My phone read 10:46 am. I also noticed a message from Jacob.

Jacob: job done, boss. When should we come to the hospital?

I quickly typed a reply with my free hand.

Me: come by at noon. Good job.

Jacob: okay, we'll be there. Thanks.

I put my phone down and held Angel. I liked her. A lot. She's funny and like a sidekick for my crimes. She fun to be around and she is so beautiful. I really like her.

I haven't liked anyone like this since Julia. She broke my heart but now I'm over her. That happened two years ago.

Now I have Alexandria. And that kiss we shared was amazing. I think she liked it too because she didn't push away, and she smiled into the kiss.

I enjoyed sharing those moments with her. Even if my sister is a few feet away from us.

Angel started waking up. She was about to sit up but I made sure she didn't. She looked at me sleepily.

"Morning. Would you help me sit up?" She asked me softly. I nodded my head and helped her into a sitting position.

Now we were sitting right next to each other, and she was leaning her head on my shoulder.

"Good morning. Did you sleep okay, Angel?" I asked her with a small smile. She nodded and smiled too.

"Yes I did. Did you sleep okay?" She replied to me.

I chuckled. She looked into my eyes and grinned.

" Yeah. I slept like a baby with you right next to me," I winked at her. She giggled.

She looked at me with her beautiful blue eyes and dark blonde hair. I looked back at her and gave her a smile filled with love.

We laid there for a few minutes until she started fidgeting. I looked down to see a nervous look on her face.

"What's wrong?" I asked her softly.

"Nothing," she mumbled, still looking down.

I looked at her with a worried look on my face.

"No Angel. Something is wrong. It's okay to tell me, you know that?" I told her.
She nodded her head and got ready to talk.

"What did that kiss mean, Alec? That was nice, but it's not what friends do. Are we friends, or more. I'm confused," she explained to me sweetly. I chuckled and she looked up at me.

"What do you want to be, Alexandria? I don't think friends kiss like that either. Do you want to go out with me?" I asked her with emotionless face. She blushed and leaned against me more.
