Brandy

We were stuck in that hotel room for another week before we got the call. They had caught Sean and we were free to go back to Nancy place, but before that I needed proof. So the officer agreed to send me a picture of Sean and he was in cuffs. Good. I sigh with relief.

"What's wrong?" Nancy asked as she exited the bathroom. I show her the picture. "They caught him?" I nod my head.

"Finally." She smile but frowned when she seen the frown on my face. "You don't look happy."

"I am."

"But?"

"I don't know. I just feel depressed right now."

"Maybe its from everything that we've been through." She saids and I force a smile.

"Maybe that's it." I stand. "Let's pack and get the heck up out of here."

"You ain't say nothing but a word." She goes and begin to pack and I laugh at her egaurness.

Surprisingly he didn't brake into the house when we last sped out of there. Nothing was touched. I still found myself looking around the house to see if anything was disturbed. I stop in the downstairs bathroom and look at myself in the mirror. I looked the same but felt different. A hell of a lot had happened in such a short period of time. My brain wouldn't stop racing. I didn't know what to do next. I think now would be a good time to take up meditation. I close my eyes and take a slow deep breath. My head was spinning and my heart began racing. I also begin to sweat. Damn was I having a panic attack?

"Brandy?" I look up at her unable to control my breathing.

"P-pa-panic..." before I could say anything else my knees buckled beneath me but Nancy grabbed me before I fell.

"I got you." She said as she held me up to the sink. She helped me take a seat on the toilet. I lean over trying to control my breathing while willing my vision to come back to normal. Unaware of what Nancy was doing I lightly jumped when she placed a cool rag on my neck. "I'm sorry. This will help you."

"Thank you." I sit there for five minutes until I was finally able to talk myself into standing up.

"Slowly babe. Have a seat in the livingroom and I'll go run you some bath water."

"Thank you."

"Don't mention it." She saids with a wink. I never had a panic attack before. I was well aware of them but I never had one before myself. Damn I felt sorry for people who had them often. I pray this would be my first and last. Slowly standing I make my way up the stairs and to the bathroom where I hear running water.

I smile at the sight I see now. Nancy is leand over as her fingers check the temperature of the water.

"So beautiful." She jumps.

"Don't scare me like that."

"Sorry." I go over to her wrapping my arms around her from behind.

"The water is a little cool to help with you sweating."

"Thank you love." She turns in my arms kissing me.

"You're welcome. Now out of these clothes." She pulled my shirt over my head and I unsnap my bra allowing it to fall to the floor. I look at her invitingly but she tries hard to resist. I touch her waist but she twist away. "Not right now young lady."
