Chapter 27
I love you y/n. I know if done many things. That have upset you. That has hurt you. Even after all of that. You still loved me. You still wanted to be with me, and now.. I'm alone with our child.
I love you.. I came back to reality
"Dad! Are we almost there!?" Jason asked
"Yess. Just sit tight baby." He said to Jason.
"Ok daddy" he said.
We parked. Everyone was here. Her brothers and sister.
I got off. I grabbed his book bag. I went to the the other side of the car and took Jason out.
"We coming mommy." Jason said. Joel just chuckled. Jason ran and turn the corner and bumped into someone. He fell down.
"Jason" Joel said
"I'm so sorry" the female said. Joel picked up Jason and looked up at the girl. I gulped.
"Sorry. Are you okay little guy?" She asked
"Yeah." Jason said
"I'm sorry he is just excited" Joel said
"Yeah don't worry it's fine." She said
"I'm going to see mommy." He said
"Really. No wonder your so excited." She said.
"Daddy lets gooo!!" Jason said. The girl looked at Joel confused
"He is your son?" She asked him.
"Yes he is." Joel answered proudly.
"I thought you were single." She said. Joel quickly looked away.
"Ughh. No I am... well his mom is in a coma. So idk what that makes me. She's been sleeping for a year. I guess I could say she's my wife because we... have a kid. Idk" he said and chuckled.
"Well your very handsome. You know if she's dosent wake up give me call." She said. She gave her card to Joel. She quickly left. He didn't even bother to look back.
We finally arrived up at y/n room. Jason quickly ran up to her, he gets up and kisses her.
"How is she?" I asked
"Come with me." Richard said.
I followed Richard out to the room. I closed the door. We went down to the cafeteria. We got some coffee. We sat down and Richard cleared his throat.
"Soo the doctor said she's doing worse. He said that instead of her doing better she's not. He said she's in a deep deep sleep. Like right now y/n is not here." He said
"What.. but she can't. She can't do this to us." Joel said.
"It's nothing we can do about it. We tried everything" Richard said
"There has to be something y/n can't do this to our son. Our son needs her. I need her." I said to Richard. My tears ran down my cheek.
"Joel... the only option the doctor is giving us. Is to... disconnect her. And pronounce her dead." Richard said.
"Just like that?" Joel said.
I didn't know what do think. The love of my life? Nooo.
We walked back. I clean my tears. We walked in and Jason was cuddling with her. I tried so hard to not cry. After a long time. Everyone left. Jason didn't want to leave. He fell asleep with his mom and so did I.
-Later
I heard the machine beep. I woke up and saw all the lines straight. I screamed for a doctor. I woke Jason up. The doctors quickly came in. I grabbed Jason and took him out.
"Dad. What happen to mommy?" Asked with puppy eyes. I cried and just hugged him.
"Nothing baby. She just had to get checked" I replied.
"Ok. But why you cry?" He asked.
"I'm just sad." I replied to his question
"But. You said mommy get sad. If I cry. So you can not cry because mommy get sad." He said. He wrapped his tiny arms around my neck.
"Ik baby." I replied and hugged him back.
