Chapter 4 FREEZE!!!

I peek a look and saw some police talking to a nurse and my girlfriend. I saw a small piece of cloth torned from my tuxedo. I tried to listen very carefully to them.

"No, Rederick won't do that" Jane insisted, "He won't kill his own mom",

"What if they are right?" the nurse asked Jane, "Besides you said that it's his",

"Maybe I'm just wrong" Jane said, "Maybe it's just the same and, I just didn't recognize it very well",

"Then maybe we could try to do an interview with him" the policeman said,

"My god, Rederick Kein is now under and suffering the lost of his mother" Jane cried, "He's experiencing a trauma can't you understand that?!",

"Miss I too suffered trauma" said the investegator, "Once before I became an invistegator my mom also died and you know what? She died infront of me and it hurts me so much and I know that just knowing your love ones dead is more painful than seeing them die, I understand him but this our job",

"I, think they are right" said the nurse,

"Fuck!" Jane shouted, "Fine I will ask him myself, don't you ever try to come near him".

I hurriedly went back to my room after hearing what Jane said. I was about to reach the second floor when I stumbled and luckily the elevator opened. I hurried and went inside of it. Before it closed I saw Jane but she didn't saw me. When I reached the first floor where my room is I'm shocked to see her inside of my room looking for me.

"Drick? Baby hey where are you? Baby?" Jane asked.

I stopped for a while and for few seconds I manage to stare at her. And just by staring at her I can feel how much she's worried for me. How much she don't want me to get hurt. How much she loves me. But in dispite of it I can feel her fright from me. I can feel that even though she wants to know the truth she is still afraid that I might do something with her. I can see her weakness. And just by staring at her weary and unsure face and movements I feel like I gain more power, strength. But what am I feeling? I think I felt this kind of feeling before but when, where, why? I really can't remember. After the few seconds of staring at her she accidentaly glanced at the glass window of the door and saw me.

"Rederick hey!" she shouted.

I hurriedly run to the stairs. I didn't see her follow me so I think she rode the elevator. I looked back and saw the nurse, the investegator and the policeman. I reached the stairs and went up, it's too many steps that's why I stopped for a while and rested. Very much surprising as I blink my eye and open it again I increases a step. Since I got curious I did it many times until I reached the third floor. Upon reaching the third floor the elevator opened. I hurried to it and covered Jane's mouth then dragged her into a vaccant room.

"Please don't kill me Rederick please" Jane begged,

"Hey, shh shh shh, I won't hurt you" I said.

Jane stopped shaking then hugged me. When she hugged me I feel like my whole world stopped. All our memories flashed back on my mind. Once again the feeling came back to me. I started to sweat, to feel nervous and most of all to change. The words which she told me stayed in my mind. I suddenly find it very offensive. My mind suddenly asked me, why is she accusing me?. I think she felt my changes that's why she let go of me and hurriedly stepped backwards away from me.

"What are you thinking, what are you planning?" she asked me as she started to cry,

"Why are you accusing me?" I asked,

"I am not accusing you Rederick" she answered "What are you saying?",

"Earlier you begged me not to kill you" I answered in reply, "Why?",

"I didn't mean to say that I just" she said nervously, "I'm so sorry",

"It's fine just, if you love me believe me" I told her,

"I will" she answered me.

She went near me again and hugged me. This time I'm still conscious and I decided to kiss her just for the last time. As I slowly move my face closer to hers both our tears started to fall. She mouthed something to me before I kissed her and it's "I believe you, I love you". I felt like I fainted after I kissed her. This time I didn't really fell asleep or fainted. I opened my eyes and I saw Jane laying on the floor lifeless. As I stare at her I started to remember what I did that is very similar to what just happened. And not like what happened before, I didn't cry instead I left the room like nothing happened. As I went out of the room, the nurse, the policeman and the investegator are all looking for me at every room. Since the nurse is the one who's closer to me she's the one who I grabbed and made as my hostage.

"Woah Mr. Kein" the investegator called me, "Just let go of her okay?, leave her out of this Mr. Kein",

"No, my mom is dead, Jane is dead, I killed them both I don't know how and I don't know what's happening to me" I explained, "I won't hurt her if you'll let me go, I don't want to go to jail".

The policeman points his gun at me.

"I don't think we can let you just go like that besides we had enough evidence because of what you said" the policeman said,

"No, we will let you go after you let go of the nurse" said the investegator,

"I don't trust you" I replied, "I know that you won't let me go".

I slowly walked to the nearest elevator while holding the nurse. A few seconds later the elevator arrived and it's full of people.

"Get out of the elevator now" I told the patients and their chaperons,

"Just please get out let them leave" said the investegator.

Everyone inside the elevator went out. Me and the nurse went inside of the elevator.

"If you still want to see her alive meet me at the ground floor" I said.

The elevator's door closed. The nurse pulled out a syringe. I hurriedly took it from her and stab her in her stomach. She even managed to struggle but I pushed her to the wall. I punched the mirror on a side of the elevator and took the broken glass then cut her neck. I pushed the button of the 2nd floor and immediately the elvator stopped at the 2nd floor. There isn't much people that's why I just left the nurse inside the elevator going down. I used the stairs and accidentaly touched the wall. I swiftly but quietly run to the parking area where my car is parked. But unfortunately the authorities are faster than me that's why they already got into my car. I also saw Aldrene there and I know that he saw me. I proceeded outside of the building and just waited for a cab. Aldrene followed me and gave me something.

"What is this?" I asked,

"No one will know meet me there tomorrow 9:00 a.m" he said, "You have to trust me Drick",

"I trust you" I replied,

"Be careful, I already called Meriline and she said that it's fine for you to stay there" he said,

"I'll be careful, you too" I replied, "Thank you, bestfriend".
