Reporter 1 : So Jaeun, why exactly did you write this story? Everybody know how you didn't end up with him?

Lee Jaeun : I always believed that every one that you meet has a purpose in our life. When I decided to publish my story, I wanted to share my experience with love. 

Reporter 2 : I read the contents of your new novel and it contains some questionable content. Are they okay that you shared private and shameful information about them? 

Lee Jaeun : Before I even sent the draft to my publisher, I consulted with the people in the story. I asked them if they were okay with me referencing to them and what happened in our past. They were okay with it. 

Reporter 1 : Confirming the cheating issues of your ex Cho Kyuhyun was a big issue, did you get reprimanded when you wrote it? 

Lee Jaeun : as I said, before anything was published, everybody knew the content of that book.  

 Reporter 2 : My Mr. Simple was such a big hit. A lot of teenagers were able to relate to the characters. For you, what was the biggest lesson that Key of Heart will teach us? 

Lee Jaeun : That Happy Ending for a couple doesn't always mean that they have to end up together. During that relationship, we were so madly in love that we felt like we can conquer the whole world. It obviously never happened since we ended up with different people. But a lot of people especially the younger generations think that their lives are over once a relationship ends. People dreaded saying good byes but they have to realize that not all good byes are bad. I can spill all the lessons of the novel but I'm afraid that I am already spoiling so much.

There were round of applause as I wave last time to the people who attended my book launch. 

It's my first time in almost five years to be at a book launching event. The first time I was here, I launched My Mr. Simple a young adult novel based on my relationship with my husband. It was such a hit that people are now referring to me as an Author instead of an Idol. I get emails almost everyday asking when I would write a sequel or a prequel of the story. It took me about five years before I can actually put every detail into words. 

My story with Kyuhyun was something I treasured the most. We were in love with each other but there were a lot of things that happened that separated us. We got hurt along the ways but just like this famous folklore Alunsina said, "Not all goodbyes are bad. Sometimes it's something that you have to do for the majority's best interest". 

With that in mind, I'll start telling the story with it's ending. 

It's unusual for an author to start with the end but for me, the ending is not the most important story, it's actually those things in between.
