22: Comas (Part 2!)

*SAPHIRA* (yep haven't done this for a while)

I flew James a Sirius to the castle, lending Lexi as much strength as I could give her. I've tried reaching out to her, but she's not responding so my assumption is that she's passed out and we need to get to the castle ASAP. I flew down to my cave and landed. The boys immediately got off and carried Lexi to the castle. I curled up and tried reaching Lexi again. Lex, please answer.... I'm worried about you.... Nothing. I huffed smoke. I lent her as much of my strength as I could now that I wasn't flying. I hope she's ok....

*SIRIUS*

James and I ran to the hospital wing with Lexi, setting her on a bed. Madam Pomfrey saw us and ran over, kicking us out as she began her work on Lexi. I'm terrified for her, as I have no idea what happened. Her black dress was stained with blood, and it was all fresh. And her hair had blood on it as well. Her face was covered in bruises, as was her wrists and lower arms.

We went back to the common room and I paced in front of the fire, my head in my hands. James sits on the couch, tapping his foot. Everyone comes over to us. Lily sits next to James, wrapping her arm around his shoulder. Remus stops my pacing by putting his hands on my shoulders.

"I take it that she's not ok?" Lily asks nervously. James nods, shakily.

"She passed out on the way back. She was bleeding heavily when we found her. We got her out as fast as we could, but she looked dead when we found her..... What if she's dead?!?!" Remus sighed and hugged me (In a brotherly way bc we ain't doing Wolfstar here). I sat down, my head in my hands. Lily hugged James as he broke down.

Suddenly, I stood up and left. I snuck out to Hogsmeade, going to a jewelry shop. I browsed the shelves for a while before finding what I was looking for.

A bracelet with three charms. One with an S, one with an A, and one that's a small (but smooth) mineral. I knew she'd love it, so I bought it and went back to the castle.

James saw me walk in and looked at the jewelry box.

"What's that?" James asked me.

"Gift to Lexi when she's ok." I showed them the bracelet and they all agreed that she would love it.

I went up to my dorm and put the bracelet away in a safe place, then went to go see if Lexi was ok.

I walked into the hospital wing and went over to Lexi's bed. I sighed when I noticed that she's still unconscious, and held her hand in mine.

"We miss you Lex..... Get better soon...." Madam Pomfrey heard me and came over.

"I'm afraid Ms. Potter will have to be transferred to St. Mungo's. She's slipped into a coma...."

"WHAT?!" I stared at Madam Pomfrey in shock. "No! This can't be happening! Last time this happened, we nearly fell apart!"

Madam Pomfrey pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed.

"I'm sorry Mr. Black, but there's nothing I can do. She will get through it though, and you know it." I sighed, nodded, and just looked at Lexi.

"I miss you Lex..."

*LEXI*

I saw white. All white. Where the hell am I? I looked around, trying so hard to figure out where I am. I'm so confused. Eventually, I sigh and stay where I am as the scene starts coming into focus. It's... Hogwarts? What the hell? Why is it white? And why is there nobody there?

I sit on the steps to the castle and just look around, confused as hell. What I don't expect is the person appearing behind me.

"Dearie, you aren't supposed to be here yet. You've got your whole life ahead of you." I turn around and gasp.

"Nana? But... You died years ago!" Nana nodded.

"You always have been the observant one." I just stared at her confused.

"Nana, where am I? And why are you here?" She sighed and sat next to me. That's when I realized that she looks younger than ever.

"Dearie, this isn't the real world. This is the heavens." I furrowed my brows in confusion.

"Nana? The heavens? What do you mean?" She looked at me nervously.

"Alexis....." I sighed, tired of this.

"Nana, just tell me." She sighed, knowing I wasn't going to stop bugging her until she told me.

"well...." I groaned but turned around when I heard footsteps behind me.

"Lexi-Bear? Why are you here?" My Grandpa looked at me super confused.

"I don't know Papa. Nana won't tell me." I gave a side-glare to Nana.

"Honey, just tell her. She needs to know anyway." Papa gave Nana a 'look' and Nana sighed.

"Alright, but Lexi you must not freak out." She looked me directly in the eyes, and I could see a hint of fear in her eyes.

"I promise on my pranking skills that I won't freak out." I used the secret promise I made when I was little. It's the equivalent of an unbreakable vow. If I break it, then they have permission to prank me so much I wish I was dead.

"Alexis, you're dead..."
