15: My Brother Sings A Movie With Us

I walked into the great hall, a bit confused. Lexi and Lily weren't here. I wonder where they are. As I sit at the Gryffindor table,my question is soon answered. I look around for Sirius and see him at the Slytherin table, with another girl! Now I understand why Lexi isn't here. Sirius looks up and seems to have noticed me glaring at him, because he whispers something to the girl and gets up. As soon as he gets over to me, I grab him by the arm and drag him out of the great hall. Some could probably say I'm overreacting, but he hurt my sister! He swore he changed! Yet here he is, with another girl, acting like my sister doesn't exist! I drag him to the Black Lake, gripping my wand.

"James, listen-" He tries to explain, but I cut him off before he can.

"No. You listen. You swore you wouldn't hurt my sister. And from the fact that you're sitting with another girl, and she is nowhere to be found, she did not end things with you. You hurt her Sirius, and by doing that, you hurt me. You swore you wouldn't hurt her. Yet you did. Everyone thought you had changed. But turns out, you hadn't." I cross my arms over my chest, finally giving him a chance to explain.

"James you know as well as anybody that I would never hurt her. I was in the astronomy tower last night, when Savannah approached me. She forced me to kiss her. Lexi walked in as that was happening. I tried to explain, but she wouldn't listen." Sirius explained what happened that night. I believed that Lexi walked in on him snogging another girl, but I don't think the girl forced him.

"Wow Sirius. You must think I'm dumb. I totally believe that she saw you snogging with another girl. But there's no way I believe she forced you. Now you remember my warning. You hurt her, I hurt you." I pointed my wand at Sirius. "STUPEFY!" Sirius fell over, stunned. I turned and went to go find Lexi. I'm sure Lily's doing fine on her own, but sometimes, all you need is a hug from your brother and a reassurance that it'll be ok. I figured they would either be in their dorm, or in the ROR. So I decide to check the ROR.

When I walk in, I see Lexi and Lily eating breakfast and watching a movie. I smile as I hear Lexi and Lily singing.

"Do you hear the people sing? Singing the songs of angry men. It is the music of a people who will not be slaves again!" Les Miserables. I remember our mom forcing me to watch this with her and Lexi. Lexi absolutely loved this movie.

I went over to them and grabbed the remote, pausing the movie. Lexi glared at me until she realized who it is, then she smiled sadly.

"Hey Jay....." I sighed and sat next to her. Lily left to go do something, leaving us alone.

"Lex, you ok? I just saw Sirius and that girl...." Lexi nodded, though she looked like she was about to break down. I hugged her. "It's ok to cry Lex. But you wanna know what I think?" She looked at me.

"What?" She looked slightly confused, slightly hopeful.

"I think that if he cheated on you, then he's not worth your tears. He lied to all of us. He swore he wasn't a player, yet here he was. I don't think that a guy like that deserves your tears. Ok?" She nodded and smiled.

"Thanks Jay. You wanna watch the rest of the movie with us?" I smiled and nodded,knowing it'll make her happy. Lily came back in a few minutes later and we all watched the movie. I sang along to some of it because it made Lexi smile. And that's all I really wanted. To make Lexi happy. When it got to the finale, we all sang at the top of our lungs.

"Will you join in our crusade? Will you be strong and stand with me?" After the movie finished, I smiled. I was glad to see Lexi smiling again. She grinned and hugged me.

"Thank you James" then she hugged Lily. "Thank you Lily. I needed this. James, you are to stay here with me and Lily all day. Got it?" I nod and she grins wider.

We spend the whole rest of the day watching movies and singing along. It was good to see Lexi smile. Especially after what she went through. Eventually we all fall asleep in the ROR. It was a good day, because I loved seeing Lexi smile.

I know I'm updating early. Be glad. I won't be able to update on Saturday. Check my random book for why on that. I decided to update early instead of late.
