Ouro didn't say anything, he just stared at me with his sad eyes, I knew he read my mind, I felt embarrassed, ouro stood up weakly without saying anything, put on his clothes and walked to the door "let's go" he said, I got up walking out the door behind him down to the front of the building we where staying at.
Ouros face looked drained, I defiantly knew he used his powers to read my mind, I couldn't stop thinking about it, but I wanted to stop thinking so he wouldn't do it again.
We arrived at a plant store full of dead plants, some where still alive but where slowly wilting, ouro went to the seed section and basically grabbed all of them, I didn't know what he was planning, I knew he couldn't talk after using his power so I didn't bother asking.
We left the shop after a few minutes and ouro finally talked, "we need to grow food, the supermarkets won't last forever" I still did know why ouro kept me with him, i didn't have any special skills or abilities.
We arrived just out of town on the edge of the city where we stopped at a greenhouse, the greenhouse was in the middle of the outer city desert, there used to be trees here, greenery, but now there's nothing, when we went into the greenhouse, everything was dead, the plants where rotten and it stunk, there was water flowing inside the greenhouse from a pipe coming from the city.
Ouro started tearing out all the dead plants, I helped him clean up blocking my nose as we did, when we finished, the greenhouse was empty, just shelves and pots, we started planting the food we needed, tomatoes and potatoes, beans and cabbage, I quite liked gardening, I never tried it before.
As we where finishing the sun started to go down, we cleaned up and went to a shed near the greenhouse where we set up our beds and went to sleep, it was hard to sleep, I couldn't stop thinking again.
