The Bad Boy

Hanji's POV

As I'm walking to school I hear someone call out my name. I turn around to see My closest friend, Petra Ral. 

"Hey, we usually walk to school together, where were you?" She questions

"I have to get to school early. There were some mistakes with my schedule." I say as she catches up to me. "They put me in a non-honors class so I have to get that fixed."

"Why can't we be in classes together?" She says throwing her arms around me. "For once can you not be such a smarty pants?" She says while laughing.

"Well maybe if you stopped being a dumb ass you would get into honor classes." I say while I gently take her arms off me.

"True. Anyways, are you excited for our senior year of high school?!" She asks. "It's going to be different."

"Why? It's the same people we've known for years. Not like they've changed in the past three months."

"You just have to take the fun out of everything don't you." She says pouting.

"Say that again when you're asking me to do your homework." I say while speeding off to the school gates.

"Wait up! You know I didn't mean that." She says while batting her eyelashes. "Don't quit on me now!" She says panting. "I wonder where Levi is. He usually hangs around here."

"Not this again" I say while setting down my backpack. "You've had a crush on him since we were freshman and he hasn't even looked your way." I say while rolling my eyes.

"You never know, this could be the year!" She says as if she's in rom com or some shit. "What about you, has anyone caught your eye?"

"Unlike you, I don't go around making googly eyes at every boy I see. Although, there is this one boy..."

"Oh. My. God. My little Hanji is growing up!" She screeches. "WHO IS IT!" She says jumping up and down.

"His name is Erwin. He's a senior." I say starting to blush. "Anyways, I gotta go, see you after school!" I say running away with my school bag in hand. 

As I run in to the hallways I look behind me to see her trying to chase after me. I suddenly fall and feel a cold body below me and look down to see a boy with Raven hair and stormy eyes. This was undoubtedly, Levi Ackerman.

"I'm so sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going."I say standing up. I offer him a hand but he swats it away, getting up by himself. I can't help but snicker when I realize how short he is.

"Oi, brat. What are you laughing about. Do you know how dirty these halls are? My clean body just brushed over it, not to mention how dirty you are."

"Sorry Levi, I wasn't watching where I was going. Let's start over. I'm hanji." I say with a smile. I extend my hand which he looks down at. 

"Tch, I'm not stupid, I know who you are." He says while cleaning his jacket off.

"Really?!" I question. "How?" I ask timidly.

"We had science and P.E together last year. I would remember, you were the one who blew up the science lab."

"Oh ya, sorry I forgot. What's your schedule?" I ask taking mine out.

"Stop trying to make small talk with me, brat. If I wanted small talk I would've talked to your friend Petra." He says walking to what I assume is his locker.

"Well that was weird." I say under my breath. 

I got my schedule changed and went to my first class, English. I walk in and find a seat in front of my friend Nanaba. 

"Hey! I saw you talking in the halls with Levi. Did he do anything cause' I swear, I'll beat him up." She says worried. 

"No, I ran into him and we fell so I was trying to be friendly by talking to him which didn't turn out well. Where's Mike?" I ask 

"He's in hawaii for another week, sadly." She says while looking out the window.

"Alright class, we are ready to begin, when you here your name say here." Mr. Charles said.

As we got halfway through the role call sheet someone walks in through the door. Everyone stops to look at him and start whispering. He looks at me and smirks. I quickly look away and back at my book.

"Ah yes, Levi ackerman, trouble on your first day hmm. You can take the seat next to hanji seeing that that's the only seat left." 

"Tch." 

As he walks to the back of the classroom he puts his jacket on the back of the chair and quietly sits down. Only now I realize that he smells like cleaning supplies. He looks over to me and leans in. I feel a tint of red come onto my face and look away.

"Oi, you stink" He says while rummaging through his bag. "Here, this'll make you smell tolerable." He says while giving me a room spritzer.

"I'm pretty sure this isn't used as perfume." I say while looking at the label.

"Just use it or I'll spray it myself."

I spritz on some and it smells like peaches. I accidentally inhale some and start coughing. Everyone starts to stare and I get a drink of water to clear my through out. This is going to be a long year thanks to Levi Ackerman.
