"Oi, why do you look so happy?" Levi asks during English. "I mean, not that I care but I can hear you giggling and it's distracting." He says while glaring at me.
"Oh nothing." I say with the biggest and goofiest smile on my face. "If I tell you something you can't tell anyone." I say while holding onto his arm.
"Sure but get off of me." He growls.
"I have a date with Erwin tonight!" I say whisper yelling. "He asked me on Monday. We texted and we decided to go to a movie."
"You mean THE Erwin Smith? He's notorious for being a player. I would be careful if I were you." He says worried.
"Oh come on, he can't be that bad. Besides, you're just jealous because you don't have a date." I say elbowing him.
"Tch, I could get a date with any girl here if I wanted to."He says rolling his eyes.
I don't know why but that made me upset that he was talking about other girls. These past few weeks we had gotten closer and talked to each other about our pasts. I found out that he had two siblings named Isabelle and Farlan. I told him about my parents and how they're barely around. When I was around him I felt like I could tell him anything and everything.
"Hey, you're zoning out." He says while sliding his notes over to me. "Write that down and you can copy the answers."
"Thanks. Do you really want to get a date with a girl?" I ask while copying down the notes I missed.
"Umm...no, I was just trying to make a point." He says while putting his arms over his face. I couldn't see his whole face but I could've sworn that I saw a tint of red. "Just do your work." He says looking away from me.
"Fine."
The day passes by pretty quickly and I finally get outside. I feel a hand wrap around my shoulder and I look up to see Erwin's smile.
"Hey beautiful!" He says making me blush. "Are you excited for our date tonight?" He asks
"Ya! I still need to decide what to wear but after that then I'll be good." I say while waiting with Erwin for his older brother to come pick him up.
"So can I ask you something?" He asks timidly.
"Of course!" I say with a giggle.
"Why do you hangout with that loner kid, Levi is it?" He asks intently.
"Well, I tutor him after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays." I say. Truth be told I don't even know the answer to that question myself. Is it his personality, the way he makes me laugh, or maybe those amazing grey eyes.
"Why do you hangout with him during lunch then."
"I don't know. He's actually really nice once you get to know him." I say. "Anyways, I got to go but I'll see you tonight at 6:00 sharp." I say walking away.
"OK, bye."
As I turn the corner I run into someone familiar. As I fall I grab onto the closest thing. Suddenly I feel something heavy fall on top of me.
"Oww. What the fuck Hanji. Why would you pull my hair?!" Levi says as he puts his hands near my head for support.
"Sorry, sorry, sorry." I say trembling under him. "Jesus, how much do you weigh?" I stutter.
"Tch, maybe you just need to eat more. Then I wouldn't seem so heavy." He says.
"Hey so...are you going to get off of me or..." I say looking him straight in the eye.
"Oh, ya." He says while blushing.
When I finally get home I pick out an outfit and do my makeup and hair. Hours pass and I hear a car honk. I run down stairs and leave a note for my mom telling her where I went.
"Hey Erwin!" I say as I'm getting in his car.
"Hey, you look...beautiful!" He says raising his eyebrows.
"Thank you." I say giggling.
As we walk into the movies I see someone familiar or should I say two familiar people.
