Relieved as we were to hear Callie was alive, all was not okay. When you drive 75 mph down a 30 mph street with no seatbelt, there’s a good chance you’ll lose control and swerve into a tree. And if you lose control and swerve into a tree with no seatbelt, there’s a good chance you’ll get a head injury, one so awful that if you’re not lucky enough to die, you’ll be a vegetable for the rest of your life.
So much for Callie’s perfection…
