I looked all over the small town until I saw a panda in deep thought. She was somehow sitting above the water without sinking. I found myself staring. Her form was perfect and her concentration inspirational. Besides from the technique she herself was quite a lovely Pandarian. I thought about myself. I was never an ugly panadarian but she was simply a beautiful Pandarian. I had red orange fur, my hair long then in the back my hair was pulled away from the rest into a tight ponytail. In the front were some bangs that fell around my face and a streak of it was pure red, I had had the streak since my birth. However she had beautiful long black hair tossed into ponytail with a pair of chopsticks stick in the top, and bangs that parted down her face. She was a black and white panda, and we both had the same frame,  since all pandarian small and delicate looking yet not nearly as small as some creatures I've seen in books. I had a pair of green eyes that matched my orange and white face and I had beautiful fur markings on my face. But her fur with her blue eyes simply topped mine. She had on a very pretty pink and blue monk suit. I was in a brown and green rouge set of armour. As I was thinking about our many differences she had stopped meditating over the water. She had noticed that I was out of place amoung the town folkand monks so she walked over to me. That was another thing, her walk was so graceful! That's when I thought about the fox tail I liked to wear. It was a huge thing that red padarian loved to wear them, but mine was special, it was given to me by a dear friend of mine. I don't know where she is now, but I will always remember her and the time I spent with her.
"Excuse me, I couldn't help but noticed you were different from the others here, and you see I was wondering if you were by chance, Anichka Motosaki? Pronounced Annika I jumped, I hadn't even noticed she had reached me!
"Yes that's me, are you Aysa Cloudsinger?" I regained my calmness.
"Yes, it is a pleasure to meet you, I look forward to working with you. However now we should get started at once, if Shen Zin Shu is dying then he should know what's wrong. But in order to talk to Shen Zin Shu we will need to connect the four spirits. I have started to try and find Shu, the spirit of water. In the mean time I'm sure the town folk would love your help with assorted things,  and you could probably use some extra training." So I walked over to a big crowd in the village. I squished myself in to see what it was all about.
"Ah! A young adventurer! Exactly what I needed! Look umm..." he trailed off allowing me to finish his sentence.
"Anichka"
"Great, great!" He was an arogant looking pandarian. His voice was like a loud boom. He sat on some bricks and looked at me. He had brown eyes and was a black and white pandarian, since he was a male, he was bulky and strong looking.
"Look I want you...to go over to those ponds and get me twelve broken reeds!"
"Why?"
"You shall have to find out!" He was wearing a huge grin, "oh and by the way, if you don't already know, some of the water is cursed. And the cranes would love a snack!" He laughed loudly to hinself and the crowd joined in. The crowd seperated for me to move though and started walking over to where I thought I had seen some earlier. What did he mean, the water is cursed? I slid down near a reed and looked at the water. How bad could it be? I dipped my hand into the water to test it out and I instantly turned into a frog. I quickly jumped out of the water and it turned me back into my pandarian self. I grqbbed the reeds and walked back up to the road. As I looked for reeds I took in my surroundings. It was quite peaceful here, monks were balancing on poles above the cursed water, occasionally jumping to another pole. Some monks were battling each other and others were just trying to reach the middle where a giant bell sat. If someone where to fall off the poles they would fall into the cursed water and turn into a frog, then the race was on. They had to get out fast or else the cranes would eat them. The land around the ponds was green with bamboo and grass and there were little huts that were a faint red and yellow against the green of the land. It made it look like the sun peaking up from behind a hill.
I finished collecting up my reeds and I looked up at the bell again. After stashing the last of the reeds into my bag I decided to go for it. I hoped up onto one of the poles. It was harder than it looked yet as I hoped from one to another I started to get the hang of it and it felt like I was flying. Closer and closer to the middle I got, when a female monk asked me to a dual. It was hard for me to hit her yet I finally hit her with just enough force to knock her off balance and she fell to the water, I watched as the little frog scampered away before any cranes noticed her. I felt great as I reached the bell, I just looked at it for a minute.  It was old with little carvings on it, I only recognized one line of it here lies to a new life. This is what I had been looking for. A new life. I picked up the mallet and struck the bell. The sound echoed throughout the town.
"To a new life" I whispered to myself.
I walked back to the man and handed him the reeds.
"NOW! What you have all been waiting for!  I AM JOJO IRONBROW for my brow is like IRON!" He screamed as he set the reeds between two blocks and he hit them hard with his forehead. The reeds split in half and the crowd cheered, he laughed.
"Thanks for your help, I hope to see you again, but here is your pay." He handed me three silver.
"I didn't ask for any pay though?"
"Oh but you earned it!" And he ran off, probably to the next town. I sat for a minute. My new life sure is an interesting one. I felt a hand touch mu shoulder. I pulled my dagger from the sheath in one fluent motion by pure instinct and turned.
"Hey hey, no need for that, I think I might have found out how we can find Shu!"

Whatcha think about it so far, in the next couple chapters it gets bloodier and a little more interesting.
