Needless to say, the food was amazing. Out of this world would have been an understatement. I am guessing it was technically out of this world anyway. There was no way that a place like this existed on earth. I wanted to ask where I was but at the same time, it terrified me. Did anyone notice that I was missing yet? How much time had passed? Was it already too late to save Amy or anyone else for that matter? Suddenly, food had lost it’s taste to me. I soon stopped eating altogether.

“Something wrong Alaturin?” Ilandria’s expression did not change, although she did turn her head to the side. It looked tome as if she wasn’t used to interacting with anyone but her own kind.

“Well, yes. This all nice and everything, but I don’t even know why you have me here. No offense, but this is wasting my time.” I felt bad saying it, but now was not the time to be off eating a feast while everyone else was left to stop Jerome and save Amy. That was my job. It was my fault that she was even in his clutches.

“It’s clear to me that you don’t understand (insert name here) . This place exists outside of time. We do not follow the same rules as your home.” Ilandria pushed a plate of food toward me. “You need to eat. You will need it. There is much too discuss.”

“What do you mean this place exists outside of time? Where am I?” This was getting more and more confusing. I must be dreaming. There is no way such a place could possibly exist. The only problem was that I never had such vivid dreams. Never. When I did sleep through the night, I never remembered my dreams. So, why all of a sudden I was having a dream about a place with strange people and even stranger rules?

“I’m not hungry.” This of course wasn’t true. The smell of the food was unlike anything I had ever smelled before. It made my stomach growl in desire, but I chose to ignore it.

“I see that you want to get down to business.” Ilandria clapped her hands together. The sound of it was more like music to me. It was then that the little auditorium like area she had shown me became filled to the brim with Katharos. Each one of them shimmered with their own individual light. Each had a serene look on their faces but their armor suggested something else entirely. Were they preparing for war?

“We have summoned you all here, to talk of matters of great importance.” Ilandria’s voice went from a calm breeze to a gale force wind in a instant. It filled the entire room. All heads turned to me and it was then that I felt incredibly self-conscious. First off, I was still wearing my pajamas. Everyone in front of me, even dressed in battle gear looked elegant. Second, there was so many more people than I realized. What did all of these people even want with me?

“Bring him here Ilandria.” A dark haired Katharos spoke. The voice sounded male. His hand beckoned us toward the little stage where he stood with another Katharos. The third chair was empty and I realized that it must be for Ilandria. We both walked toward it. Well, I walked again, it seemed as if Ilandria simply glided slightly above the air. As if walking was beneath her. What were the Katharos?

I felt self conscious as they stared at me.

"You, Amolas have been brought here. Your situation is dire and unfortunately we can do little to help.” Ilandria’s voice had changed again. I suspected that I was the only one that could hear her voice. Why was she even telling me this? Was I not supposed to know that or was she preparing me for what they were about to discuss? Her words made me feel uncomfortable. That's nice. Real nice. Go ahead and stay in your fancy place while we suffer. I wanted to ask why they couldn’t help me out or anyone for that matter, but kept my mouth shut. The look that Serythis was not the gentle stare of Ilandria it was more like disdain almost. Did he not like the fact that I was here.
