It was kinda getting late already 7:30 "hmmm I guess he decided he didn't wanna come" I thought to myself for some reason a wave of sadness came across my body but I drugged it off ignoring it deciding To change into something comfortable like a xxl OF sweatshirt and some short compression shorts and some OF tubbed socks going into my room turning on my calming led lights and my firestick to Netflix and my account popping up with the recommendation of the new season of "Attack On Titans" my heart racing with excitement turning it on ready to Beng watch it from start to finish before starting I quickly got up going to the kitchen grabbing some snack (fruit roll ups, strawberry soda,and a small pack of chocolate covered pretzels) dashing back up stairs hopping in bed pressing play finally getting in sync with my vibes only 5 minutes in I was already sucked into the episode....

I felt a wave of tired filling my body I was mad because I was barely into the season already tapping out " damn Bam wake up at least one more episode " I told myself out loud watching the end credits for the 3rd episode ending but failing miserably to stay awake

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK the sound of the door echoed all the way down to my room waking me up instantly I wasted no time getting out of bed grabbing my robe and headed to the front door looking thru the peep hole I couldn't really tell who it was all I saw was a black blur figure.
"Who is it..?" I asked while grabbing the bat leaning on the side of the door
"It's me." The voice echoed not sounding recognizable
"Who is it now.?" I asked again

"Nigga if you don't let me in"so I slowly grabbed the knob turning it letting the door swing open while letting my other hand with the bat pulled back ready to fire as well till I quickly saw who it was walking in hovering the doorway hearing a small thud of the bat dropping.
" ohhhh Jabari you came it's kinda late why are you here..?" I asked in confusion trying to wake myself up finally snapping back to reality

  I walked into the kitchen grabbing two cups of sprite that was in the corner of the fridge walking back handing him his drink
"Thanks" he muttered taking a seat and a sigh of relief it was quite for a moment and it was awkward to be honest because didn't think he'd come and I looked a mess and sleepy he could tell I was tired but I just laid back sinking my neck into cushion
"I'm sorry if I woke up up man why you ain't say nothing ."
"Because it's fine that's why now I'm assuming since you here you are finally interested in studying hmmmm.?" I asked in a daze
He didn't say nothing just took a sip of his drink setting it down
" mmmmmmmm yuhhhhh I guess that's why I came so whata got for me ..?" He said eyeing me for a responds .
"I don't have anything right now but give me a second I'll get some of the work I was looking over just hold up you can pull out some of the work you got with you and we can organize it ." I got up going into my room grabbing some of the paper of Jabari's that I kept on my desk heading back to the living room seeing Jabari setting out some papers.
"Well let's get this dumb shit started" Jabari grumbled
"Hey don't say that educationist important"
"Fuck that the system is rigged and teach kids things that are lesser value in the real world if you actually lived in reality."
I was shocked at the small insight he gave me on his point of view  because he had a point
"Yuh yuh well sitting here complaining about it ain't gone help now let's start on something up your speed then" he gave me a side eye

" nah I already did what I had to do today I'm straight." I got even more nervous because honestly I don't have any friends and I have never really hung out with someone so I  had no planned activities
