"OK we are almost here. Just turn down this freeway and keep going straight until you get to Boudreau," I directed Nash.
He did as I said as I looked around the familiar areas.
Soon we turned down a long road all to familiar.
We finally got to the neighborhood that was filled with scents.
"Why are we going to a neighborhood, what will you do when you shift in front of the humans."
"Nothing, cause it won't happen," confusion drowned face, silently telling me to continue.
"Only my old pride lives here," he made an "o" face turning into the neighborhood.
Directing him to the right house, we finally got to the wonderful house filled with the best memories.
Right when we pulled into the driveway, an middle aged aunt that was almost close to my dad, but with a giant watermelon as her stomach. I quickly got out the car to greet her.
"Oh my god, sweetheart, I haven't seen you in so long. And look at your hair! How'd it grow so long? Were have you been? You cousin's miss you so much," she showered me with questions, hugging me with all her mite.
"I shifted and congrats on the baby," I said while I rubbed her round belly.
"Their twins just like me and your father."
I herd the trunk door close, Nash walking up to use with bags in his hands.
"And who is this," her face darkened, changing the atmosphere.
"This is Nash, my mate,"her face lit up like a light ball.
"Come come inside and see everyone,"she directed us inside to a loud livid house hold.
The kids ran to me and latched onto my leg.
"Hey guys, how have you little pumpkins been."
"Where not little pumpkins anymore, I'm 7!"
"And I'm 6"
"Aright then how about big pumpkins."
There faces grow dig with smiles.
"Who's this Joezy," they looked at Nash with a blank faces.
"This is Nash, he's my mate."
"He smells like wet dog," they giggled.
I laughed at the cuteness of the two.
"Well well well look what the cat dragged in," another one of my cousins walked into the living room.
He took in the scents around before addressing us again, "Or should I say... dog."
"Hey, he's my mate, calm down with the rude comments,"I laughed as he walked down the stairs.
Finally reaching mean he pulled me into a bear hug. A large snarl was heard behind me when he did so.
"Oh calm down he's my cousin."
His cheeks turn cherry red at my comment, making me giggle at his embarrassment.
"Wow he's protective, must be an alpha"
"You don't even know how protective he is," I scoffed rolling my eyes.
" where's grandma, I haven't seen her forever," I asked expecting her to run up and engulf me with a hug.
" She had to go to the school for some reason something about transfer papers? I don't know you want to come with me, I got to go anyways."
" shi.t I was hoping to avoid going to that stupid school,"
