I love Damon

Chapter 6

Elena's POV

The past year has been perfect. Damon has been taking me on dates, real ones if your wondering, and has given me flowers everyday. I could not ask for more that what I have now. I even moved in. Only partially though. We're still working on it.

When I woke up this morning, I didn't find Damon next to me. I was upset until I heard his voice. "Good morning." I turned to see him leaning on the door frame. "Good morning." I got up and hugged him.

"I'm surprised your even up this early." He joked. I slapped his chest playfully and chuckled. I looked up at him and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "What time is it?" I wrapped my arms around his neck.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and sighed. "It like 7:30. Like I said I'm surprised." I rolled my eyes at his smirk. I shook my head.

"Beautiful." he said.

"Sexy." I said back.

"Lovely."

"Mine." I said hoping I won.

He smiled and I actually thought I won. "Forever." He whispered in my ear.

In case your wondering, we do this all the time. The only thing that doesn't happen is me winning.

"I love you." I said leaning in.

"I love you more." He smirking.

"Impossible." I closed the space between us.

Damon's POV

As she touched her lips to mine I traced her bottom lip asking for permission. Not a moment later we our tongues wrestled. Our mouths moved in sync and she smiled in the kiss.

I pulled away relentlessly and placed my forehead against hers. As we tried to catch our breath, i managed to get out so much as an I love you.

I went to my bed at flopped down and waited for Elena to get dressed. We she cleared her throat signaling that she was ready I opened my eyes and stared.

She was wearing blue skinny jeans and a black shirt with MY leather jacket. "You." I growled playfully.

She smiled and dashed down the stairs. I smiled as well and chased after her. With my inhuman speed I caught her in a matter of seconds.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and nibbled her neck. She screamed quietly and laughed. I picked her up and swung her around. "Damon! Put me down!" She giggled.

I gave in and put her down spinning her around to face me. "I love you so much you know that?" She asked.

I nodded. "I love you too. No one could ever compare to you.

I kissed her passionately and heard someone clear their throat. We pulled away quickly not knowing who it was.

"Stephan?" We asked dumbfounded.

"Hello brother. Miss me?"
