"Can you guys stop fighting in my ear. I'm trying to concentrate." Emma whispered lowly, so only her ear piece will pick it up.

"All I'm saying is that you should pull the front of your dress down a little bit more. You'll thank me later." Olivia said.

Emma rolled her eyes and begrudgingly exposed her cleavage a bit more.

"There. Happy?" Emma said.

"Very." Olivia said.

" And tell Amanda to stop chewing chips into the mic. I can't seduce a man if my face looks annoyed."

"Are you?" Amanda's muffled voice teased.

"I am going to kill you when I get back." Emma threatened.

Out of all the people she could have been paired up with she was stuck with her best friends. Which wouldn't be a problem if they could act professional. It was so easy to get caught up in the moment, but Emma couldn't risk letting loose even for a minute. She had a mission and distractions could be dangerous.

"I'm drawing the line here. Nothing, but professionalism until the mission is complete. Am I clear?" Emma said.

"Crystal agent Chamberlain." Amanda said.

"Good. Fuck I need a drink." Emma muttered.

A waiter passed by her with a tray of champagnes and she quickly took one. She was suppose to act classy, but she desperately needed this drink. She shamelessly chugged it and swiped another drink from the tray.

"Glad to see that I'm not the only one being dragged to these boring art expos. I'm usually the only one hammered at these sort of things, but it seems like I finally found my kindred spirit." He said.

Emma was going to ignore him. She wasn't in the mood for lousy pick up lines. However, good thing that she didn't because he just made her job a whole lot easier. He was just the man she was looking for.

" I guess I was missing good company. Now that you're here I don't feel like drowning myself in drinks." Emma said.

"Don't stop on my account. There's nothing sexier than a woman who can hold her liquor." he said.

"So what brings you here...uh?" Emma began.

"How rude of me, where are my manners. I'm Ethan." He said holding his hand out.

"Emma." She responded.

He pulled the cliche move and raised her hand up to his face. Placing a soft, tender kiss on her knuckles. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Instead she flashed him a coy smile and made herself to blush.

" What brings you here?" Ethan asked.

She chuckled, "Excuse me. I believe I asked you that first."

"You got me." Ethan said.

"I might have lied to you. This is my first time in an expo. My friend's art work actually made it into the exhibit this year." Ethan said.

"You don't say. Is that why you avoided the question?" Emma said.

He nodded. " Its kind of embarrassing to admit that you don't belong in this world. Especially when you're trying to impress someone." He admitted.

"If it makes you feel better, this whole shebang is meaningless. I've been coming since I was a little girl and I've learned that this is all bullshit. No one is here for the art. They just like the lifestyle." Emma said.
