The notification popped up while she was scrolling on Instagram.

'Daddy's coming home.' The message read.

She shoved the covers off her body as a sudden heat surged through her body. He was always such a tease... One single text message had her body involuntarily reacting to the memories of his touch.

Ethan had been on the road for the past 6 months. His band went touring all over the U.S before hitting Latin America and Europe. One of their last stops before going back home to Hollywood was San Francisco which was near the bay area. A quick 16 minute drive would lead him straight to San Bruno, California where she resided.

They met on accident a few years ago. His band was playing local bars and she just so happened to be celebrating her 21st birthday that day. He gave her a night she would never forget. One night stands weren't her thing, but something felt different about Ethan. Till this day she still can't put her finger on it.

They slowly became friends and like the good friend she was she went to all his concerts. It didn't come as a surprise when they got a record deal. His band not only had talent, but their unique genre had accumulated them a lot of fans. Ethan was struggling with the fact that the whole band had to move to L.A. He didn't want to leave her behind, but his dream was right in front of him. She played it off like she wasn't going to miss him and he promised her he'd always come back to visit whenever he was in town. She tried not to hold him to it knowing that fame could change a person. He would soon be surrounded by some of the most beautiful women in the world and would eventually forget about her.

Emma was genuinely surprised when he texted her while he was on the U.S leg of the tour. They hadn't talked in months besides a few hey's here and there. Ethan was always too caught up in his busy schedule to maintain a long conversation, so they kept it superficial. However, it appeared their lack of communication didn't change where they left off. He asked if they could meet and even gave her some VIP tickets for his show.

'I miss seeing you in the front row. It's not the same.' He texted her.

There was some tension in the room when they finally reunited. At first she pin pointed it as awkwardness, but it changed as the night went on.

"You can't be looking at me like that." He said.

"Like what?" She asked.

"Like you want me." He replied.

She nervously gulped since she had no idea what to do. Was she really being that obvious? It was his fault for leaving her in his dressing room. He came in with sweat dripping off of his shaggy hair and his tight shirt was clinging onto his body like a second skin. It left nothing to the imagination and it kept reminded her of him in different circumstances. Neither talked about their one night stand, but it doesn't mean they didn't remember it.

"What if I do?" She challenged.

He backed her up against the door, his body moving in closer and closer as he left no room in between them.

"Tell me if you don't want this. Tell me if you don't want me." He shakily choked out. His resolve breaking in front of her.

"But I do." She said. Her fingers clenching the black fabric as she tugged his face closer to hers. "Kiss me." She whispered.

That night changed whatever they had completely. In all honesty they don't have a name for what they have and it's never been a problem for them. All she knows is that he's gonna love her right like no man has ever done before even if he's only home for one night.
