**Rin's POV**

When I woke up, one whole day has passed. What surprised me the most was seeing my Papa sleeping in one of the nearby chairs. I let out a pained hiss as I attempted to sit up.

"Hold on, you will crack open the scabs." Papa said right before helping me move up. "I was worried that something like this would happen after your quirk came in."

I remembered seeing pictures of Papa back when he was a villain, it took multiple healing heroes to help change him. I knew as soon as I saw the red hair and the fire quirk, that my own grandfather attacked me.

"No one expected that Grandfather would attack a mall. So it is no one's fault."

"This is not the first time Enji burned someone close to me. Keigo nearly died from burns the last time." I could see him shaking as he tried to resist crying, I have never seen Papa show this much emotion before. "I froze when I saw you at Enji's feet, until Kota started to put out the flames. All I saw was Keigo's burned body again."

"Papa, this incident just shows that he is obsessed with revenge. He was planning on destroying the place to make you show up." He stopped and looked up at me. "However, he lost his cool at the sight of my flame wing quirk, because they are the same color as your cremation quirk."

Papa had a shocked look as he realized what I said.

"Endeavor has always been fueled by anger and revenge." Dad said as I saw him walk in.

I saw some pink feathers, hidden behind Dad's red ones, and knew that Sakura must be blaming herself.

"Dad, when you see Sakura, let her know that  this was not her fault. She needs to realize that Grandfather is a powerful quirk user even before he was arrested." I saw the lighter feathers shake. "Is Lulu okay?"

"Yeah, it is a good thing that Sakura's wings are fire-resistant! That saved both of their lives."

A pink blur shot out and hugged me, both Papa and Dad had to help pull her off of me.

"I'm sorry Rin! If only I was stronger." She was crying and it shocked me because she normally doesn't cry. "But, my feathers did nothing to him and you got hurt."

I leaned close to her and booped her nose.

"Did anyone else get hurt?" She shook her head. "Then you are a strong hero to be. Besides the side goal of fighting villains, a hero's main goal is the safety of citizens. You protected Lulu from the flames."

She was crying as she sat down in a nearby chair. We spent most of the time talking until visiting hours were over. I was relaxing in bed until I saw one of the shadows shifted into the form of Lulu.

"How long are they having you stay here?" Lulu asked as she set down my homework.

"A week, I see you have been practicing. Was that shadow teleporting or just camouflage?"

"Camouflage, I was going to reveal myself sooner but you needed family time more than friend time. I will come by to drop off your homework tomorrow."

She disappeared into the shadows and I could hear her footsteps down the hall.
