Mall Fight

**Rin's POV**

Lulu used her quirk to keep an hold on Sakura and me. Her shadow arms felt cold to the touch.

"Most of our class is in the store across the way." Lulu said as I saw one of the shadows turn into a ear.

"Safety in numbers, we should head over to them." Sakura said right before running ahead while pulling us.

I saw the fire coming towards us and let go of Lulu's shadow arm.

"Sakura! Protect her!"

Sakura pulled Lulu into her arms and covered themselves with her wings. I summoned my flames right when it hit us. The heat from my flames protected me from most of the fire. Sakura's wings are flame resistant due to her quirk.

"That damned blue flame." A deep voice said as I felt the heat get stronger on me. "That cursed blue flame."

I felt a sharp kick and I rolled across the ground. I put out my flames so I don't burn down the mall.

**Sakura's POV**

I was hugging Lulu as I felt the flames move away from us. I looked up and saw a big red headed man walk up and try to burn Rin.

"Get away from him!" I shouted before shooting some feathers at him.

He didn't react as my feathers exploded on him. Kero came running up to us and tried to pull us away.

"We need to back off!"

He was trying to pull me back and I saw the blisters start to form on his skin. His skin can't handle heat that well. Then, I saw a jet of water come from a open window.

"Aqua Jet! He's here!" One of my classmates shouted.

The red headed man went to pick up Rin and a stream of blue flames pushed him back. Lulu used her shadow arms to grab Rin and pull him to us. Rin was knocked out and he had burns all over his body.

"Enji, it is time for you to go back to where you belong!" Papa shouted as he ran into the mall.

"Disgusting, you are weak and yet they let you become a prohero."

"There will be no more freedom for you!" Uncle Shoto shouted as he used his ice to put out the flames.

"Trash, did you forget that I did not escape alone?"

I looked up right when I saw the ceiling beam start to fall. My feathers shot out and caused them to break into smaller pieces. Then I saw red feathers catch the smaller debris. Sadly, it gave a big enough distraction for that man to escape.

Dad and Papa ran to us as the rest of the heroes helped clean up. But they both froze when they saw the burns on Rin.

"Tch, for an ex-burn victim, you are an idiot when it comes to injuries." Aqua Jet said as he sat down next to me.

"No shit, Kota. My skin was rotting off because I was clueless for the longest time."

Aqua Jet kept the worse burns under cool water until the ambulance came to get Rin.
