I Hate Sand

The tie fighter pilots were surprisingly good and even land a shot but-
"AGHHHHH!"
I know their weakness and despite being in large numbers I could probably take even more down.

I fired one last shot as the last tie fighter exploded.
"Is... It over?"
"Yes, yes it is but we have to get
away as soon as possible we are also badly damaged so we have to land and we could only make one
hyperspace jump."
"Oh."
I then flicked some switches,
"Ready?"
"Ready."

We jumped into hyperspace and-
Shit.
Why.
"Out of all the places! It JUST had to
be Tatooine!"
"Why do you hate Tatooine?"
"It has very bad memories. And has alot of sand. "

"I don't like sand, it's course and rough, and it gets everywhere."
"Exactly."

I got ready to land on that forsaken planet.
The planet where I was a slave,
the planet where my mother was tortured by those menacing animals that I killed to avenge her death.
But it was the place where I met her.
An angel.

"We're about to land and it's going to be a very bumpy one too!"

The tie fighters wing was very closely of being torn off thanks to that pilot.

And a massive thanks to the laws of gravity, the tie fighter began to fall because of the damage as red bleeping lights began to flash.

"What's going on! Why is everything bleeping!"
"Haven't you worked it out?!
WE'RE FALLING!"

I got ready for impact as my life flashed before me. No.

I used the force to slow down the ship as it tumbled down to the sand I heard a scream and blanked out for a while .

I came to my scenes.
"Leia! Are you okay!?"
No reply.
"Leia!"
No reply
"LEIA!"

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Not again!
I got out of my seat and got to the back. I saw Leia with a deep cut over her cheek as blood started to pour.
I was frightened to know all of that, was for nothing. I was about to cry
but I saw her stomach rising and saw she was breathing just  fine,
I gained a small smile to know that she was alive.

I opened the hatch above us and carried her out of the seat with her in my arms as I got out.

I looked around the surrounding only to find blasted sand.
"Hang on Leia everything is going to be alright."
