Allison and Ophelia rode for hours through the forest, to Allison, this all seemed like they were blindly walking around following a glowing necklace for nothing. She wasn't very convinced they would find anything other than a dead end. So Allison decided to question Ophelia to see if there was any real proof that this so-called magical necklace actually works.
"So... Ophelia was it? I was just wondering how do you know this necklace can actually lead you to your mother? Like do you have any way of proving this or are you just as clueless as I am right now?" Allison questioned.

"I know that this will lead me to her because she told me that when she gave it to me. The necklace was made from the same magical crystal and that crystal can connect the people who wear it. I read about it in one of my books while I was trying to find out more information about how my magic works an-"
"Wait a minute, well first off what if she's not wearing it and we end up in the middle of the ocean because someone threw it in there? Second, how do you know it actually works has anyone else used this before or do they just assume this? Also third, YOU HAVE MAGIC! Why can't you just use that to poof us where ever that thing wants us to go? "

"To answer your first question, if she doesn't have it and it's with someone else or somewhere else then that might give us a possible clue. Second, no one had this before and I'm not completely sure if it's just what they assumed but I really hope it does work. And third yes I have magic and it doesn't work like that... Well maybe, I don't know but I can't do it because I never really got taught how to use it, my mother was taken before I could learn from her, but I can do some things although they are very small and not really helpful now. " Ophelia explains to her as they ride through the forest. "So we have no proof this thing even works so we are just going off of hope to lead us, we'll isn't that just amazing," Allison said sarcastically.

"Ok well as seeing that your magic might not be very useful out here, do you know how to fight?" Allison asked.
"Um no actually my parents never thought I would need to learn and I guess they thought I would learn to used my magic to protect myself but now I don't even know how to use it," Ophelia mumbles. Allison looked shocked, how could a princess that needs to be safe not know at least basic self-defense. Allison couldn't have her in these forests without some fighting skills. 'Great now I have to teach her' Allison thought to herself.

" Ok let's stop and set up camp quickly then I can start training you" Allison commanded. Ophelia was confused, training for what? She wanted to ask but Allison didn't seem like she was in the mood for questions, so she did what Allison instructed. The two girls made their tent and then set everything up. After that Allison called Ophelia over where she was holding two swords, she then threw one of the swords on the ground for Ophelia. Ophelia looked at the sword on the ground and then back at Allison with a face of confusion because she didn't know what Allison was expecting.
"Pick up the sword princess, I didn't throw it to you for you to just stare at it. You can't be here in the forest without some basic sword fighting skills so I'm going to teach you how to fight." Allison declared. Ophelia looked shocked, no one had willingly given her a chance to use a sword and taught her how to use it. "I have a name you know, and thanks for wanting to teach me," Ophelia whispers as she picks up the sword ready to train but Allison just sighs and drops her sword walking over to Ophelia.
"I know you have a name but princess suites you better. And it's not that I want to teach you it's just that I don't want you to be completely defenseless if you ever need to fight on your own. At this rate we will never get anywhere though, you can't even hold the sword right." Allison exclaimed as she went behind Ophelia and grabbed her hands to guide her on where she is suppose to put her hands and then showed her how to swing the sword correctly.
After 15 mins of that Allison let go and let Ophelia do it on her own. "Wow, well I guess that actually paid off princess, I guess your not such a lost cause" Allison chuckled as she walked back to the opposite side of Ophelia and picked up her sword ready for a fight.

The girls trained for hours until it was 7:30 pm. Ophelia was exhausted she had never experienced anything like that and she was ready to collapse, but Allison however, was perfectly fine while she laughed at Ophelia as she slowly dropped down to the floor. "How are you perfectly fine we have been doing this for like five hours!" Ophelia yelled.
"Well I do this every week at least twice, I guess I'm used to this. Also, I've been doing this since I was five and in your case, you hadn't even picked up a sword till today. " Allison laughed. Ophelia picked up her head from the ground and looked at her and yelled "SINCE YOU WERE FIVE! How? Did your parents just give you a sword at birth!?"

Allison looked down "No, my parents... Um didn't really teach me. I had to kinda learn on my own... " She muttered. Ophelia noticed she became a bit sad when she mentioned her parents so she decided to ask her about that another day.
"Anyway, I'm going to get some berries and plants to make a salad for both of us. You just wait here and start a fire if you get cold or something." Allison reported as she walked into the forest. Ophelia makes a fire and gets lonely so she starts dancing. Ophelia used to always do this whenever she had free time to relax. A few minutes pass and Allison comes back but Ophelia doesn't notice and just keeps dancing.

Allison leans against a tree and watches as the princess spins around and around. She watches for a few more seconds until she couldn't contain her giggles no longer. Ophelia stops and turns to the sound of giggling. Ophelia then noticed Allison there and then started to blush because she probably just saw Ophelia dancing.
"Hey don't stop cause I'm here, I honestly liked your dancing princess." Allison chuckled. "I already told you my name is Ophelia, not princess, and I'm not stopping because you are here I'm just tired and want food," Ophelia says sitting near the fire. "Ok jeez you incredible sulk. Well, I have some fruits and berries so I'm going to quickly make something so you can just go to sleep and hopefully stop being such a negative Nancy." Allison teased as she made the food.

After Allison finished with the food she gave it to Ophelia and they both sat down and talked about their plans for tomorrow morning. They talked for hours until it was about nine at night and Ophelia started to become sleepy. "Well then I think I'm going get some shut-eye now, it's getting a bit late don't you think you should also be heading to sleep?" Ophelia questioned. "I'll go in a sec I just need to fix somethings out here first princess." Alison answer.
Ophelia looked at Allison with a tried expression as she said "I already told you a million times my name is not princess" As she walks into the tent Allison chuckles.

Allison put the stuff away and put out the fire then walked into the tent where she finds a princess sleeping peacefully. Allison lays down quickly falling asleep. Little did these two know that there was something in the forest that would soon disturb their sweet slumber.
