You find yourself belly laughing. When those guys got together as a group they were hilarious. You're laughing so hard it turns to silent laughing. Eventually stopping and standing upright to wipe your eyes of tears, you look up and your eyes meet Damiens'. "How long was he staring at me?" you think to yourself as he looks away and turns, you assume to avoid you seeing him blush. There's a tug on your hand.
"Come play DDR with me!" Courtney yells at you.
"Oh it's on!" you playfully respond, taking off your pumps in the meantime.
Both of you scramble to the Dance Dance Revolution platform. You swipe your card and the game begins. Courtney picks the song, luckily it's one that you know.
"You don't know what you've got yourself into," you jokingly say to her with a huge smile.
The song starts and the moves aren't hard to keep up with. Having really good rhythm was helpful in this game. Not only do you pull ahead of her in points, you start to sing along to the song. The moves are a cycle so you learn them quick enough to be able to turn as you go.
"Holy crap y/n, you're so good at this," Courtney laughs.
The song ends and you raise your hands in victory. Courtney turns to you and gives you a big hug.
"I could get used to having some good competition !" she says while hugging you.
As you turn to get off the platform you notice that everyone is behind you in awe. Slightly embarrassed, you blush and get down to put your shoes back on.
"That was so impressive," Noah mutters.
"Thanks! I used to play with my siblings when I was in high-school." you giggle.
"Drink refresh?" Keith asks the group.
"Hell yeah!" everyone responds.
Heading back to the bar you pull your phone out. Clicking through Instagram you notice Courtney and Olivia on each side of you looking at your phone.
"What's your handle?" they both ask you.
"yourusername!" you chime.
Within 2 seconds you have two follow requests and promptly follow them back. You pick your head up and see everyone ordering their second round of drinks. Thinking to yourself you wonder what to have next.
(AN: a helpful tip that I was told by my sister when I was entering college. Beer before liquor never sicker, liquor before beer in the clear. NOW, if you are underage please do NOT drink. Be smart please. This is just a tip for those able to legally drink.)
Putting your hand through your hair you contemplate. Looking at what the others get, you notice that Damien is ordering water.
Walking over to him you ask, "you don't drink huh?"
"Nah," he responds, "it's not for me, but I don't mind driving my friends home if they do."
"That's so nice of you," you say. How considerate.
"Let me buy you a drink," he says to you sweetly.
You turn to face him, his face closer to yours than you expected.
"Damien, you don't have to do that." you say politely.
"You were nice enough to come talk to me at the coffee shop, if I could have I would have bought you a drink there but you had to go." he coos.
"Okay then," you smile, "just this one."
"If you say so," he ends with a wink. Matt Raub grabs his attention to ask a question you don't hear. This gives you the opportunity to really look at him.
