"Ayyooo," I called out to him as I approached him. "What's new kin folk, " he said dapping meh up as well. I told him I was looking for my brother Caleb & he gave meh the most shocking news ever. My brother Caleb moved, got engaged & had his second baby on the way at this moment. It turned out he got a bihh pregnant that night Bonté had called him for meh.

I couldn't believe da shit till Derrick showed meh a pic of lil Jacé. He was a handsome lil boy but what was crazy was he looked a lot like meh. It wa no way meh & brother had fucked the same chick tho I just knew it. I asked Derrick for my brother number & we had a lil conversation. Derrick offered meh to stay at his place for a while since he was thinking about selling it soon & he wasn't staying in it anymore. I shrugged my shoulder cause y not? He gave my the keys to an apartment on 5th avenue which was about two blocks away. I asked him if he was carrying in case I ran into Keisha again & she had my money. He gave meh 2 pounds of weed on the house & told meh I owe him. I took it & thanked him for letting meh stay at his apartment.

I left the basketball court & went to check out the apartment. I needed the walk had to clear my mind. Then all of a sudden my phone started ringing again the same number from earlier. I decided to answer this time. "Hello? Who is this, " I said waiting for a response. At first it was quiet. I could hear a lil boy in the back ground asking is that my dada??

I was confused. Maybe they had the wrong number, maybe they thought I was somebody else. I hung up the phone. It began to ring again so I answered. " Helloooooo?!?!" I said getting aggravated. That's when I heard someone say Allen is that u? At first my mind went blank because what the fuck ainn no way this girl from the club remember meh. I came in less that 5 minutes. How could she have remembered meh?? Why had she been calling & texting meh everyday??

I played dumb. "Umm who is this & what you want with Allen?" I asked confused & shocked she still remembered meh. I'm surprised she still remembered my fake name & hadn't looked meh up on Facebook. "Is this Allen?" she said getting frustrated. "Uhhh I can get him it depends on who's calling." I said still confused as to why she was calling meh. "This his baby mama since u must know!" she said loudly. I hung up the phone. I couldn't catch my breath cause what the fuck, man how? She called back yelling. I told her to calm down & that I was Allen but there was no way I had any kids with her. I mean shit I been locked up. She explained to meh what had happened & told meh her pimp let her go since she had twins. I was in total shock when the word twins came out her mouth. At first I was just silent. I kept looking at my phone & rubbing my face as hella thoughts went thru my mind.

Could she be serious?? Did I get her pregnant that night?? Did Ty'Sean not hit that before meh?? I had soo many questions but there was only one I had the balls to ask. "Are u sure their mines," I asked hesitantly. "The fuck u just say nigga? U know what this was a mistake. U were gone for 5 years I'll leave it at that," she said hanging up in my face.

At first I didn't know what to do. I called Derrick. "Aye cuh can u come by the apartment later?" I asked him. "Uhh yea yea. What's the problem kin folk?" he said worried. "Uh shit I might be a father," I said questionably. " A father, Ja'shari, r u sure," he asked meh sounding just ask shocked as I was. "I don't know man this girl just called meh saying I got twins G," I said.

He told meh he was on the way to the apartment now. I didn't know what to do next. Where to start like I had just gotten out of prison & was already in hot water with my oldest brother & had done left sum bihh I didn't know at his place.

I called Caleb & he answered. "Yooo who this," he said in an rather intoxicated voice. I could tell he had been drinking & smoke lord knows what else he done started getting into since I've been locked up. "This Ja'shari bro can u come back to ya home town for the weekend," I asked him. He didn't say nun for bout 3 minutes then he finally said, " Ja'Shari is that u for real?" "Yeaaaa this meh. I'm staying at Derrick crib now," I said feeling hopeful that one of my brothers was happy I was out.

He said he would come over after his baby mama got home from work so he could leave the kids there. It was fine by meh so I just started rolling up. Derrick got there fast asfff. Soon as he walked in he had a bottle of Hennessy in hand. "Welcome to parenthood Ja'shari," he said handing meh the bottle. I just shook meh head & took the bottle. "Man I don't even know what to do. How do I be a father when mines was locked up since I was a jit," I said walking into the kitchen to get some cups.
