LUNA SMILED, zac and her haven't seen each other in a good two months. he's been away at collage they usually hang out a lot when they are together in new york.
"why are you smiling like that?" grayson chuckled as he looked at the crocked smile on lunas tan face.
she shrugged, "just found out one of my old friends is here in hawaii so i'm going to see him tomorrow." she explained to grayson who stood between her legs.
"him?" grayson questioned.
they weren't dating but grayson definitely liked luna more then a friend, well maybe.
"yeah, his name is zac." she told grayson who moved his hands so they were holding onto her shoulders.
"what are you doing?" luna laughed as he licked the inside of his cheek and started rocking back and forth.
he went forward and fell.
his body flopped on top of luna's making her cheeks go a dark red color.
grayson quickly got off her, "i'm sorry." he scratched the back of his neck and looked down.
luna smiled, "it's fine grayson." she shrugged softly.
"want to watch a movie?" luna asked grayson who nodded quickly and grabbed the tv remote.
"what movie?" grayson asked as he looked through all the different movies.
luna hummed as she scanned her eyes across the screen. she gasped, "joker." she decided and grayson pressed on that movie.
they layed against their pillows and the movie started, "i'm concerned about how much you've watched this movie." grayson laughed and luna playfully pinched him.
"it's actually a really sad story if you think about it, they took his medication away and he went insane. it's sad." luna explained to grayson.
"great! now you spoiled it!" grayson sarcastically whines as he crossed his arms over his chest.
luna just rolled her eyes and watched the screen.
she sat up when her favourite scene came on. she copied what arthur did.
she put her fingers into her mouth and started moving her skin to make a sad face.
grayson laughed as he watched the brown eyed girl.
she then moved her lips so she started smiling, she stuck her tongue out at grayson.
a big laugh erupted from his stomach and luna smiled widely. he sounded so happy.
they calmed down and continued to watch the movie in silence.
luna felt cold in the room as the air conditioning had been on all day.
she slid her body closer to grayson's side. she stared at the side of his face.
she studied how he would bite his lip every so often, how his eyes darted across the screen quickly and how his breathing speed up every few moments.
"yes luna?" grayson asked her as he felt her eyes boring into the side of his head.
"i'm cold." she mumbled; embarrassed that he caught her staring.
he smiled softly and grabbed her body, placed her on top of his chest and wrapped his arms around her; keeping her warm.
"better?" grayson asked as he softly played with the ends of her hair.
luna's heart started beating faster at their proximity. she nodded and took deep breaths as grayson smelt really good.
they layed there in a comfortable silence before luna fell asleep in grayson's arms.
he smiled at the small girl laying in his arms. butterfly's filled his stomach as she looked so perfect.
even if her cheek was squashed against his chest.
it was perfect.
