Getting out of the car, Stella stares up at the intimidating white paneled house with her hazel eyes. The sun rays peaking from behind it, where a close line hung.
She huffed as her mom gave her a look, and she faked a smile.
Grabbing some boxes from the trunk, Stella follows behind her mom and dad, into the house. Locks of her dirty blonde hair falling against her forehead.
The house had a semi open concept with baby yellow shutters blocking out some light.
"Why don't you go pick a room sweetie."
Her mom pipes up from the kitchen. Helping her husband unpack the needed items. Stella nods her head even though they couldn't see her.
The truth is, she was angry at her parents.
They were leaving her all alone in this house at the age of sixteen.
Because they were disgusted with her.
After all, her old school had caught her sleeping with her Music professor.
And to say her parents were not happy was an understatement.
But Stella didn't think that was reason enough to dump your only daughter in a new house, in a new town.
Walking up the stairs, Stella looked at the rooms.
There was only three including the bathroom and two bedrooms.
The bathroom only held a simple shower, toilet and small sink. The mirror above it old and vintage.
The guest room already had a simple double bed, a nightstand and dresser, some old paintings littering the white walls.
The other room which Stella had chosen also had white walls but lace covering a window. A queen sized bed and nightstand lay on one side with some fake flowers on it. While on the other side held a tall but short in length dresser and a desk. Completed with a chair and her purple computer.
