English class drags by and it is so boring. We started reading A Separate Peace by John Knowles and it is the absolute definition of boredom.
Why is it that they always make you read boring books in English class, like To Kill a Mockingbird, Moy , The Great Gatsby, etc.
What were they thinking when they chose these books?
A Separate Peace is so boring that I fall asleep while we are reading and Luna thumps me on the head to wake me up, so I have a bruise on the back of my head but it should heal soon.
When the bell finally rings, I barely hear the teacher what the teacher says before I race out of the classroom.

Physics is interesting and the assignment is easy so I finish it quickly and spend the rest of class texting Melia.
When the bell rings, the teacher gives us two pages of homework before dismissing us. I make a stop at my locker, which is next to Jon and Luna's lockers, and put my homework in my locker before shutting it.

Once I opened the cafeteria doors and stepped inside, all conversations gradually stopped and everyone turned to stare at me.
Just like this morning.
I let out a slow breath before walking towards the lunchline. The closer I got, the more the smell of whatever they were serving smelling assaulted my nose.
Suddenly, a clawed hand latched onto my arm and a shrill voice says, "Caspian, baby, hey."
I sighed and look down to see the girl from before smiling up at me.
"What do you want now?" I say, prying her fingers off my arm.
"And how do you even know my name?"
She giggles and says, "I have my sources. Anyway, I wanted to know if you were free tomorrow night. A new movie just came out and I was wondering if you wanted to come watch it with me."
"No thanks."
Her mouth drops open in shock before anger clouds her features and she says, "What?! Why not?"
"1-I have a wife, 2- I don't like you and then there's the fact that I don't even know your NAME! So please, leave me alone."
I walk away from her and towards the lunch line.
"Wait" I hear her say and her nails latch onto my arm. AGAIN.
"What" I say, mildly annoyed as I turn around to face her.
"My name's Courtney. So, we can go on a date now?"
Ugh. She's so desperate and needy. Why can't she leave me the fuck alone?
"No."
"Why not?" she whines.
"I have a fucking wife or did you not hear me the last 3 times I said it. And I'm not gonna cheat on her with some pathetic, desperate whiny little girl who doesn't know what 'no' means."
"I'm not little girl" she says, before stomping her foot.
"Really. I couldn't tell" I say dryly, sarcasm dripping from my words.
"I'm about to turn 17."
"I'm 22. Try someone else" I say, before walking away.
I finally get to the lunch line without anymore interruptions. I send the lunch lady a small smile when she hands me my tray of mashed potatoes and steak and she returns it with a big toothy grin. I pick up an apple and a carton on chocolate milk as I go down the queue.
