"All done," the hair salon lady says as she turns my chair to face the mirror. My eyes remain tightly shut. I don't want them to rupture and bleed.

'Open your eyes, you bitch. I wanna see' Dalia says.

'No' I say, stubbornly.

'So you gonna keep your eyes closed forever'

'No...just until I leave the salon'

'Fine then' she says, before taking control and forcing my eyes open.

'I hate you' I tell her as I stare at my reflection in the mirror.

'Relax, it's not that bad'

And she's actually right. It's not a dark yellow, but it's not pastel. It's really pretty and the hairdresser had put small white sunflowers in my hair which made it even prettier.

"Do you..um..like it?" the hairstylist says hesitantly.

"Yes..I love it. Thank you so much" I say, standing up as she removes the black cloth from my body.

"It's temporary, right," I say, as I pull out my purse from my Burberry bag.

"Y-yes."

"Great, here you go," I say, handing her a couple hundred dollar bills.

Her eyes widen like saucers and she splutters saying, "M-Ma'am, this is way too much. It's only supposed to be $50. I-I can't accept this."

"I thought dyeing your hair cost about $100. The extra money is as a tip."

"Most salons make it $100, but mine is still new so I figured I'd get more customers if my prices were cheaper. So far, it's not working.

"Well, we're gonna have to change that" I say, shoving the money in her hand and pulling out my phone.

I five-star her shop and add 'Best salon I've ever gone to. Love my hair' for extra reassurance before posting the same message on all my social media.

My phone automatically begins vibrating so I put in on silent and stuff it back in my pocket.

"W-What did you just do?"

"It's not important. Just expect a whole lot of customers in the next 10 minutes."

She opens her mouth to protest but I interrupt her.

"Consider it a thanks for not fucking up my hair. And keep the money. I'm not taking back."

"T-Thank you. Thank you so much" she says, smiling widely.

"Oh, and can I have some more of those flower decorations?"

"Sure" she says, before rushing into a room and coming back with a small bag.
