"I'm just a traveler. Sometimes I see things need fixing. I do what I can." - Thirteenth Doctor, "The Woman Who Fell to Earth"
Been a while since I've posted something here, eh?
Finally got my first drawing of 2020 done last night! Just took a few photos of it today under good lighting and somewhat windy conditions (I decided to take it outside as taking it inside wasn't enough for this particular drawing anyway). It's the first time I've used alcohol-based markers for coloring, and they turned out well; the ones I used for this drawing were Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers. These markers come with three shades in one color, allowing me to blend colors much more easily, and they look better compared to using strictly colored pencils. I'm still using my Prismacolor colored pencils, however—I've used them throughout the rest of the drawing, as well as adding any needed highlights to make Sachora-as-the-Doctor stand out.
Overall (no pun intended), this turned out really well and I cannot wait to experiment with these type of coloring markers throughout the year! I still gotta catch up with series 11 of Doctor Who, though...
Surface: Sketchbook paper, 11X14 inches
Materials: Prismacolor Premier graphite 4H pencil; Copic Multiliner SP, 0.5mm; Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers (Earth Brown, Gold Brown, True Blue, and Bright Pink); and Prismacolor Premier and Scholar colored pencils
