Gracie had fun at the mall as always and I had fun watching her as she ran around and laughed with her friends. She was my angel, my light, my absolute everything, without her I wouldn't be here.
"Gracie" I whispered, cuddled up to her. "Please don't ever leave me," I pleaded.
"Of course I wouldn't. Not now or ever" She promised me and I believed her, every word. I had no reason to doubt her at the time. She made me so happy I never thought twice about whether she was lying or not. Some people would call it being dumbly or blindly in love, and I wouldn't disagree honestly. It was the truth, I could accept that.

The alarm went off and like always, Gracie didn't wake up. I watched her for a bit because I thought she was just too beautiful not to.
"Grace, wake up sweetheart" I cooed gently trying not to startle her. She groaned a bit and turned over smiling at me. At that very moment my whole world stopped and all I saw was her beautiful smile. I fell in love with her all over again and that made me the happiest person alive. "Come on, let's go shower and get ready for school." I whispered, smiling down at her.
